Giving in

Chapter 3

It was Friday afternoon the bell was going to ring in five minutes I am is so excited for you later tonight me and my friend Carly Marie we're going to the dance together. ring ring ring everybody hurdle up and got their stuff and walked out of the door like a mouse when it found cheese. I walk to my locker put my stuff inside and went to find my friend I told her I had to go talk to Bruno before we left she said "umm turn around" I turned around seeing his face smiling at me I said "i'm excited for tonight :)" when he heard what I said he started to fade his smile and stuttered then spoke "uhh ya" confused for a second but I thought maybe he wasn't paying attention for minute I give him a quick hug and then Carly and I went out the door. as I walk down the halls all I could think about was why he didn't say something else like "yeah I'm so excited" or "yah see you tonight" but he didn't. I saw my dad's car we jumped in and went to Pizza Hut I got the jumbo shrimp with fries and Carly got fettuccine Alfredo. That we got home and we got ready for the dance I put on a really pretty as tech top with a lace sweater sweater with skinny jeans at that moment I thought wow this in the first time i've ever worn skinny jeans well look good in them I mean.after that my friend and I were talking about Bruno she even asked me "I did he started to say anything." I told her I didn't know. Then he went on our electronics and took selfie's together. At 7 o'clock Harley and I got to the dance got it and look for our friends I found Casey Tom and Gracie Alberts. To talking and I told them I was excited to see Bruno it was about 7:10 Bruno got there with his friends. I know he was looking for me because he kept searching the room finally he spotted me, and came and sat next to me. He said "hey you know how I was being a little nervous at school" I replied "yah" he said "The reason was because I didn't tell my friends that you asked me to the dance and they set me up with Christina Alger." Right when you said that I wanted to cry, scream and die why would you do this to me? I looked away trying not to cry he knew I was sad so he his hand on my shoulder and said "are you okay?" I got and went to the bathroom he tried to catch up to me but I got into the bathroom before he caught up to me. Right when I went in my friends Carly, Gracie and Casey kaman they sat next to me on the bathroom floor and Carly put her head on my shoulder saying it was going to be okay. I knew she was right I had to get up and face my fears I don't care if you like me or not I'm not going to let him ruin my night. We got up from the floor and went back into the gym. The first thing I saw was Bruno and Christina talking I was little hurt but I wasn't gonna let it hurt me my friends and I got on the dance floor and started dancing not thinking about a care in my life. we danced for tool songs but then a slow song came on and my friends and I went to sit down I try not to look on the dance floor but I had to and I found Bruno and Christina dancing. His soft hands on her waist and her hands and head on his shoulders and him smiling. Our eyes meet he knew I was sad so he tried not to look at me, and I tried not to look at him. It felt like this was the longest song ever and I couldn't keep my eyes off of them smiling, giggling and whispering in each others ears. Finally the song came to an end they looked into each other's eyes and..... kissed. Beeep beeep beeep beep
