The end of summer :(

Brent's POV

The summer is soon ending which means we're gonna make the most out of the 2 weeks we have left so I convinced mom to take us on a vacation to Hawaii! I went to collect the mail "junk,junk,junk,insurance, mom... Orphanage?" I mumbled to myself I left the other stuff on the counter and went to find mom.

"Mom, why is the orphanage sending us mail???" I showed her the large envelope "Oh,they must've finally sent us her educational records!" Mom opened the envelope and as her eyes scanned the pages her eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "This says she's in 9th grade! That doesn't make sense, she's 12 and was raised in an orphanage I expected to be behind but she's going to high school before Lexi is!" Mom smiled "Caleb is going to 9th grade too right? You should call him and ask him to help her out a bit, she's probably going to be confused her first time in school." She suggested I nodded a texted him before walking to Celina's room to tell her about Hawaii since we were going in 2 days

Lexi went tanning, Mom went to the spa, I'm going swimming in a little bit and Celina's climbing a cliff. wait a minute! CELINAS CLIMBING A CLIFF I watched her as she reached the edge and realized we didn't even make sure she could swim. I swam out to under the cliff as quickly as I could and I watched her as she flew off the edge tucking her legs, preparing for a cannonball. She hit the surface and splashed the water but I didn't see her come back up, the water isn't easy to see through but I swam under any way in search of her. I could feel the water move as she flailed in search for the surface, I grabbed her arm and pulled her to shore.

When she was done coughing up water we sat on the shore and felt the waves come up to our feet. We buried Lexi in the sand and over all had a really fun vacation over the rest of the week.

When we got home we were all jet lagged and slept the whole day.

We went school shopping and after much confusion from Celina and explaining from Lexi we got everything we needed and prepared Celina for her first day of school tomorrow, I would drive Celina and Caleb to school together and they would stick together all day. She could call me if she needed an answer Caleb couldn't give since I went to that high school last year.

  When my alarm went off the next morning I smelled eggs and bacon. I walked down stairs to find Celina, Caleb, Mom, and Lexi eating breakfast and they even set a plate for me, Celina is really bringing us closer I thought we never did things like this before.

  I dropped them off and watched them walk towards the school I was already so familiar with.
