I arrive Jaxons house and meet Mark on my way,

"Morning Tina"

"Morning" I reply"Is Jaxons dad still here? "

" Yes he is... "he trails off

"Ugh I hate that man" I mumble under my breath"

"But he's about to leave no biggie..." He says trying to enlighten the mood

I sigh"Okay, I have to go. See you later"I say

"Sure"he replies and I head to the house.
I get in closing the door behind me and walking to the kitchen as I put my apron on. I check the time...

4:50 am

I'm early. I get startled when I enter and find Jaxon dad in the kitchen. He turns to me and shoots daggers at me

"Good morning sir" I say trying to ease the tension

"What's so good about this morning when you are late for work?" He asks

I'm not....

"I'm sorry sir,.." I say and look down.

"What should I prepare for breakfast?" I ask

"Aren't you the cook?" he asks

Does this anger run through the family? I ask myself.....

I start preparing some pancakes and sausages when Jaxons dad appears

"Do you want to end our lives so fast" he asks and I stare at him... What d...

It hits me....unhealthy foods....

"I'm sorry sir" I say and torn off the cooker. I take my handkerchief and wipe the droplets of swat on my foerhead

I prepare a healthier set of food and bring it to the table.

"Call Jaxon" he says

"Yes sir"

I sigh and curse in my head asi walk to Jaxons study. I stand in front of the large dark brown door and lift my hand to knock the door. I stop midway and let out a sigh

'Do I really need to do this?'I ask myself

' Do it for Hannah... She needs you wherever she is right now' my inner being replies

I lift my hand again when the door opens and Jaxon stands there.

His hair is messy and makes him look hotter than he is. His brown eyes sparkle and I get lost in them.

Wait.. Did I just say my boss is hot?

Take your work seriously there should be no relationship between us I remember his words in my head

"Breakfast is served sir" I say and he nods

"I'll be there" He simply says and I go back to the kitchen when Adam calls

I walk out of the kitchen through the kitchen door and receive the call

"Hey" He starts

"Hi" I say and let out a breath I was holding

"Is everything okay?" He asks concern filling his voice

"Yeah, I'm just tired" I say

"In the morning?" He asks

"I didn't sleep well last night..." I sat thrilling off

"Ask for some time off then"He suggests

" I'll try although my boss isn't an easy person to talk to" I say

"It can't be that bad can it? " he asks
