"So let me get this straight Donny. You have been chilling here in Crystal Bay for 76 years not really doing much besides wandering around and breathing down peoples necks?" His face was fixed in an expression of amusement. "Yeeeup kiddo. I have been a floating soul just trying to find a way to kill time and maybe do some good here and there." You know those people that you meet them and only a few minutes into a conversation you can straight up tell who they are and how they think. This was one of those scenarios. He seemed genuine and a very happy go lucky guy but I still had a few more questions for this so called wanderer. "Look sir, I'm gonna be quite Frank here. This whole day has been, so far; kinda weird and I have been in a position where I have been pondering my life itself. You seem like someone who has dealt with what I'm currently going through. If there is anyway you can help me that would be much appreciated." Donny put his arm around my shoulder and smiled. As much as I would usually be uncomfortable with this kind of gesture, I didnt brush it off. He seems like a down to earth kind of guy who would be willing enough to help just for the good of it, hell I could even say he is trustworthy.
"Of course I can help you...what did you say your name was?" I forgot I didnt even introduce myself. "Oh yeah my names Shaun." Donny looked a bit puzzled. "Is your name really Shaun? I dont mean to be disrespectful or anything like that but I kinda just thought your name would be like Jesús or Jośe." I just gave him that look like "really man". I mean I know I'm Latino but damn be more stereotypical why dont you. I guess he kinda noticed that. "Hey look kid like I said I didnt mean anything rude by it. I guess the old 1940's in me still kinda has a problem assuming. But I just want you to know I'm not a judging person. I may have been born back then but I love and mess with everyone equally." I couldn't help but smile and chuckle a bit. I could tell this is gonna be quite the adventure.
