his chain clinked as it hit the zip and button on his pants, his eyes were droopy as if the last thing he wanted to do was communicate to anyone, and the sound of his lone footsteps in the corridor made the feeling of loneliness even more exaggerated.
well, not really, he wasn't lonely at all. how did he know? maybe the sound of girls giggling as they attempted to hide and stalk him gave them away. as usual, he pretended not to notice, after all, he wasn't interested in any one of the girls, and giving them attention would just feed their obsession.
the giggling and whispers continued until he reached the classroom. yes, he was almost always late, not that he wanted to be. he mostly spent his time trying different routes in the school from one class to the other in order to avoid the "constantly on laughing gas" fan club of his. the girls walked away and headed back to their own class, their stalking done. he assumed that their aim was to find out where he had class on this friday afternoon. so he specifically planned his course of action. after walking into the class and waiting for the girls to leave, he stepped out of the classroom, apologising to a teacher for what seemed like the millionth time today, and walked to his own class.
yes, he had just walked into the wrong classroom to get the girls off his back. he checked his phone, seeing it bombarded with requests to be his girlfriend, super sappy texts saying how he means the world to them, etc. although flattered, he really didn't care or like the girls who wouldn't respect his privacy.
he walked into his actual classroom this time, his girlfriend greeted him with a smile and a pat on a chair, inviting him to sit down next to her. he grinned, slung his arm around her and asked about her day. she talked, he listened, and while he talked, she listened. her cheeks grew red, and she felt a very warm and fuzzy feeling inside. she felt happy that someone like him would be there for her even though there are millions of girls who love him.
god was she lucky, and she knew that, his dark brown eyes gazed into hers while telling a story that made everyone around them laugh, he was so fun to be around, he told the best jokes and stood up for anyone who was having a hard time and was always ready to listen to others. she was so thankful that someone like him liked an ordinary girl like her.
twitterpated, she was. why wouldn't she be? he was everything anyone would ever want or even dream of.
