lilia charlotte buckingham woke up by the sound of her alarm ringing, it was january 4, and she had to get ready for her new job. her mother had recently opened a cafe, right by melrose avenue, and that was her new job for now. her mother's cafe was right next to barnes and nobles the bookstore, her mother hopes of having a successful business, she's been dreaming of this day for years.

lilia finally decides on wearing a black long sleeve top with a yellow vest and some black jeans, along with a pink scrunchie and some random white shoes she found.

it was a cold saturday, it had been snowing the previous night, making the snow all over the sidewalk. i walk all the way to my white range rover and start the engine, driving to my moms new cafe "buckingham's". i blast the song are you bored yet by wallows on repeat, best song of the century.

i finally get to my mom's cafe noticing the reflection of the glass that read "buckingham's" i unlock the door with my key, and start wearing my apron and hairnet, along with flipping the "we're open!" sign of course.

i go through my notifications on my phone, noticing that i have 10 twitter notifications, 4 text message notifications, and 2 snapchat notifications. i decide on replying to my texts first,,

lilia looks up from her phone, smiling at her first customer. "so im assuming im the first customer?" the stranger inquired, lilia nods "guess so" as she conceded. "so.. what do you sell here?" the stranger asked, walking up to the counter. "well.. we have cookies... muffins.. and other cafe stuff that i'm too lazy to list.." lilia babbled, being completely honest.

i walk my way to melrose avenue, and walk right past the tailor, after the tailor you can spot barnes and nobles, what seems to be next to barnes and nobles is a new cafe, labeled "buckingham's" i go in figuring that its probably a good cafe.
