it was officially summer for millwood high, the sun was out, exams had just ended, people had the time of their lives around this time. as for lilia and emily, lilia had to spend time with her dad's side in england for a week while emily stayed home in boredom all week.
the week felt like months to emily due to her lack of seeing lilia, she couldnt explain it she just felt so distant with everyone. emily sat on her bed scrolling though her tiktok for you page the day lilia left, she didnt expect to do much that day, before emily could think any further a notification slid down her screen.
"lilia just posted a photo" it read. emily immediately clicked it, her heart rapidly beating. but in a normal way right? she only wanted to see what lilia was doing after all.
