Reece and Diamond (Night Chronicles)

PLAYING WITH NATALIE

"So you are a Screaming Death" I said.

"Please don't be scared!" Natalie said, so fast, like she really wanted me to stay.

"Well, can you, um, show me?" I ask her.

"Sure, but we need to go outside". We walk outside, into a huge garden, which has a sign that says 'STAFF ONLY'. I wonder what staff means. "Alright, so I am going to turn into a Screaming Death, and, if you are scared, just put your left hand in the air, and I will turn back into a human" Natalie said. Just then, Dagur the deranged walked in the garden. I suddenly pull out my Dragon-Dagger, and turn myself into defence mode. "Whoa, cool dagger, but, why have you got it out?" Natalie asks me. I point at Dagur. She just puts her hand on my arm, and pushes down gently. "Dagur has changed, since you last saw him, he is nice now. He even changed his name to Dagur the NICEST. It is a wierd name, and well, it is fine, even though it may sound crazy. Well, I am going to change now" she walks into a clearing and I turn back to normal mode and watch. It is really amazing how she changes. Her legs and arms shrink back into her body, she grows bigger, wings prout out of her back, and she grows a tail, then she turns white, and red on he end of her tail, with RED eyes. The only diffrence, is that she has blue on the end of her eyes. She turns back, and sits down with me. "So, um, do you wanna have dinner tonight?" She asks me.

"Sure, but I only ask one thing" I say back to her.

"Anything, diamonds, gold, emeralds, you got it!"

"I want you to release my friends and their dragons, including mine"

"Sure, GUARDS, RELEASE ALL OF THE PRISINORS!" Natalie yells to the guards, "RELEASE EVERYONE, EXCEPT FOR THAT ALVIN THE TREACHEROUS GUY!".

"Alvin the Treacherous. He's a Berkian now! Why would he be in your dungeon?"

"He tried to take all of our diamonds"

"Can I go see my friends now?" I ask. Natalie nodds. She takes me to the dungeon, then leaves me alone with them.

"Reece, what happened, they are letting us go! Did you talk them out of it?" Astrid asks.

"Not exactly" I reply.

"What happened?"

"I guess, I guess I have a girlfriend now. Anyway, we are going to go flying, you coming?"

"No, I will leave you with your girlfriend" Astrid says in a romantic kind of way. I leave the room to go find Diamond. She is in chains. Hard chains, so that she can never get out, and no one can get her out.

"DIAMOND! What happened!? I can't get you out!" I say, in horror, looking at her.

"*cough* *cough* can't breath *cough* *cough* help me, please" Diamond cries for help.

There is nothing I can do.
