I grab Autumn's wrist as she turns away from me. She looks back at me. "You're never gonna change me, you're wasting your time. Nobody's ever suceeded, as you can tell. Just....give up,'' Autumn says, trying to pull her wrist from my grasp. She's looking at me with those ice blue eyes that seem as if they are always looking straight into your soul. She furries her eyebrows in confusion. "Garrett, let go of me!"

"Not until you listen to me. I don't want to change you. You're perfect the way you are." Perfect for me. "I want you to stop thinking everyone wants something from you. Why do you think that?" I ask, confused.

"Because that's all anyone has wanted from me! My parents wish I was smarter and respectful, my exes wish I were prettier, everyone. They all wish I was perfect. But I'm not." A tear rolls down her cheek. The first tear this girl has ever shed. I pull her to my chest and wrap my arms tightly around her. Just thinking how beautiful this girl sobbing into my chests really is. "I wish I was perfect" she says talking more to herself, than me.

Garrett Reynolds is a boy who is never really had a lot of friends. He's only had 3 friends his entire life. Garrett is the only child, or to his dad, the accident child. His dad is a detective, who after an accident with his wife and Garrett's mother, becomes engrossed in his work. His friends are there for him when his father isn't. Garrett's 3 best friends Colton a serious gamer/nerd, Shane an up-and-coming tattoo artist, and Riley, a hardcore feminist.

Autumn James has serious social anxiety. She never cries. She's insecure, but so beautiful she doesn't even know. Her parents don't realize how bad it is. She's a loner and keeps to herself. If there's a group project, she'll work alone. So when she makes friends with a powerful girl named Riley, she finds herself the center of attention of 4 people.
