I texted Theo about Hera.
"Dude that sucks."
"Yes and no," I texted back. "She was an ass-hole too."
"True, but she's sensitive."
"I know, but still. She takes advantage of me, makes fun of me, and then I discover she has a crush on me. It's confusing."
"Well it's Hera, she confusing." Theo texted. "Dude, I need to go. Beth is begging to help her study for a test."
"Okay, seeya."
At that time, I was just walking around the Newtal Park, hoping to see if there were clues where Hera went."
I had an idea, but she couldn't go to the mall, and live there. Hera was stupid, yet she had a sense in mind. I could guess she went some place sane, or at least a place she could enjoy.
I sat down on a bench. I thought for a while. Then I saw this girl that looked similar to Hera. She looked at me crying. I ran to the girl, but she ran away, faster than Hera would ever run. I tryed to catch up with her, but failed to do so.
I lost my breathe. I fell to my knees. "HERA!" I yelled.
School started with out Hera. However, we could easily replace her with Lily. I didn't want to. Theo did, but I didn't.
"She hot though!" Theo said.
"Dude, you have a girlfriend!" I said as I slammed my locker.
"I know, that doesn't give me the right to say it though. Hell, I think there's another guy."
"What makes you say that?"
"She's not answering my calls, or texts."
"Dude, don't act like a white girl."
"But I'm white boy."
"That doesn't mean you have to be a white girl."
"Yeah but-" The warning bell for 4th period had cut him off. Theo had biology and I had math. My part our ways and I left down the hall, and he left across the hall.
I arrived to my class, but the door was still locked. I looked from behing me. It was Hannah. I fixed the colar of my uniform. I thought I would talk to her.
Okay, I know this' a little off topic, but I'm going to tell you the story on how I got a crush on Hannah. We used to be friends in 5th grade. Best friends in fact. One day there was a birthday party she and I got invited. We sat down next to each when it was time for cake. We ran toward the line. We weren't supposed to run, and we got caught. So we were sent to the back of the line. There weren't enough pieces of cake, so we had to share. But I decided to be a gentleman and let her have it. She insisted we shared, but I refused. She giggled, and kissed me on the cheek. From that moment I had a determination to be with her.
Now, it's different. She has a douchebag boyfriend named Jamie who I saw cheating on her with Petra. He was stronger than me so her said if I told Hannah, he'd kill me. They've been dating for a few weeks, I think five but it's they're realtionship is a work in progress.
"Hi Hannah."
She turned to me. "I'm sorry did you say something Oliver?"
"Um, hi?"
"Oh, apologies Oliver. Hi."
"Which class are you in? Physics or math?"
"Oh, um math."
"Me too."
"Yeah, not my best subject."
"Don't beat yourself up."
"No, dude I got only C's last year in math. Everything else was rather a B or B-."
"At least they're passing."
She giggled. "True." Hannah paused. "You, know this' nice. Just us talking. I don't remember the last time we had talked."
"Um, I don't know, but it's great talking to you." I sighed. I sucked in my stomach and I decided, that I didn't care if I got beat up by Jamie, I was going to tell her that he cheated on her.
"Hey Hannah-" I told her but with the bell louder than my words, she couldn't hear me. Students swept through the class. Carrying me and Hannah along with them.
That was my chance, but fucking a fucking school bell ruined it. The bell was on Jamie's fuckng side damnit.
