"He's not breathing," a doctor yells.
A woman runs into the room and went by the patient's side. "That's my baby!" The woman cries out.A nurse comes up to her and tries to take her out of the room. "Ma'am, you need to leave so the doctors can work."
The woman fights the nurse and rushes back to her child's side. "Y-you can fight this! Don't let this be the end! You have so much you still need to do... so much potential, so many more lives to save!" she sobs out.Four other nurses grab the woman and drag her out. "If you want that child to live, you need to let our doctors work," one nurse says calmly. The woman collapses onto the floor, sobbing. "I NEED him to be okay!"
A nurse helps her her up and takes her to the waiting room. Another nurse brings her some water. "We are doing the best we can to keep them alive..."
~Present Day~
Todoroki woke up to some noise from the kitchen in his apartment. He shared the apartment with Izuku Midoriya, another young hero trying to be number one, just like Todoroki was.Todoroki walked out, still in his pajamas. "Hello Midoriya. What are you doing up so early?" he yawned.
Midoriya turned around. "Oh my gosh did I wake you up? I'm so sorry! I was just trying to make some breakfast for us since we are hero's and all and I want us to have a good day." He grinned at Todoroki.
Todoroki slightly blushed, knowing that Midoriya cared for him this Much. "Thank you for thinking about my wellbeing."
Midoriya smiled. "No problem Todoroki! You have done so much for me the past few years, this is the least I could do!" Midoriya was cracking some eggs.
Todoroki heard Midoriya's phone buzz so he picked it up and faced the phone towards Midoriya, showing him the phone. "You got a text from All Might."
Midoriya looked at his hands which were covered in egg. "Uhhhh could you read it for me?"
Todoroki nodded and opened the message. "It says that the boy, Kota, that you saved at the training camp got his hero license."
Midoriya smiled. "Awww I'm so happy for him! It's a big deal, especially after what he went through with his parents."
Todoroki nodded and put the phone down. "Maybe you could go talk at his class. You were part of the so called 'big three' of our years at school, and you're the number five hero. They would think highly of you." Just like I do... he thought to himself.
Midoriya finished and washed the egg off his hands. "I don't know. Maybe if you and Kachan came with me."
Todoroki shrugged. "I wouldn't mind it. Though you would have to convince Bakugou."
Midoriya plated the food and smiled. "Yeah, but that won't be that hard. Me and Kachan have been getting along pretty great the last little while." Midoriya put a plate in front of Todoroki. "Do you think All Might will be at the agency today?"
Todoroki shrugged as he took a bite. "I'm not sure. Last I heard he's in on Tuesday's."
Midoriya and Todoroki finished their food while they talked about their school days.
Midoriya then looked at the time. "Crap! If he is in I might miss him. He usually goes out by 10:30 and it's already 9:30!" He quickly stood up and raced out the door, his hero costume in his work bag.
Todoroki watched Midoriya run out the door as he smiled to himself. "Midoriya." Todoroki picked up the plates and cleaned up after breakfast, then went to get ready for work.
