The bell rang as a wave of impatient students were running out of school pushing for their way out.
It's actually hilarious to see them that way,I swear they act like children who just got their favorite candy!Can anyone relate ?
Anyways.... I tried to exit the school trying to be unnoticed but as we all know everything goes to plan in life....
"VIC!!!!Finally, hell is over for the day!"My crazy friend Jasmine screamed in the hallway as she rushed towards me
I tried to stifle a laugh but that didn't work. Suddenly I hysterical laugh made way out of my mouth.
"What are you laughing at?!This is a serious matter!"Jasmine glared at me
"Yeah so serious that I just died out of laughter!" I giggled back
"How dare you!And to think you are my best friend!You are banished from of my kingdom!Do I make myself clear?!"Jasmine shrieked looking deadly serious
"girls girls.... We are in public!You don't want our fans to think that something is off!"Jeremy replied
"SHUT UP!"Jasmine and I snapped at him
His hands flew up in the air acting innocent....
My eyes wondered towards my watch....Time is ticking .....I will be late!
"Hey Vic, Jazz, Jeremy you have 2 hours to get ready for my party got it?And I am not talking a no for an answer!"Kevin ordered
"Yeah sure man ,we three will definitely make it!" Jeremy answered
"Okay great!I have to go but meet you in my house "Kevin clapped his hands together and left
"JEREMY! I didn't agree to this!"I glared at him
"Vic you won't agree to this obviously! Naturally speaking you won't even decide whether you get to go or not!"Jasmine replied looking at me strangely as if I always decide
"Jazz you got the words out of my mouth!"Jeremy laughed looking at her eyes deeply
okay...
"But..Oh fine!!Only this once!"I snapped back
"Whatever makes you sleep darling!"Jasmine replied with a flying kiss and left
"Babe, I gotta go I have training in a few!"Jeremy kissed me on the cheek and left right after jasmine left...
weird... maybe I am overthinking this... but forget it Vic it's nothing I convince myself
CRAP!
I have a bigger problem now!
I have to go to work within an hour !!!
I dialed my boss's number and greeted:
"Hello Charlie!How are you?It's Victoria Goldwell speaking by the way!"
"I have your number saved Victoria, but I am fine what about you?" He chuckles through the phone
-I am fine Charlie!I was calling you to say that I will be taking today's mid-night shift instead of afternoon's shift if you don't mind that is
-It's okay kid!Don't you worry especially now that you have school,homework and parties.
I could feel charlie smirking through the phone
-You know me more than I know myself
I said laughing through the phone
-You bet I do ! One more thing though, now since you have school you can go to any shift that is suitable for you. There is no need to call me.Am I clear?
