Nozaki and her little sister skip through the forest. They both jump over a log, giggling together. Suddenly, Nozaki stops walking, looking to her right. Her little sister looks too. "Sis, who is he? Your friend?" Aiba notices them and stops taking pictures. Shouko approaches him. "What are you taking pictures of?" "Liverleaf." "Liverleaf?" "These weeds, after surviving a harsh winter, they bloom and push away the snow." 'When spring comes, this area will be covered in liverleaf. Then I can take good pictures.'
"You're so cool, Big bro!" "Is she your sister?", Aiba asks Nozaki. "Yes." "My name is Nozaki Shouko," she said bowing. Aiba bows back. Shouko skips ahead of them, dancing for her sister. "This town has nothing," Aiba says as they walk together. "You also transferred school like me, right?" He nods. "Since grandma lives in this town, I ended up here." "I see." "Brother, will you take a picture of us?", Shouko says grabbing at Aiba's camera. "Hey, don't mess around," Nozaki says grabbing her sister. "Sure," Aiba smiles.
Nozaki and her sister stand in the middle of the trail as Aiba fixes his camera on them. Nozaki fixes Shouko's pigtails as they smile at the camera. "This is the first time I took a photo of a person." 'I feel really nervous.'
