The puppies scurried
Amongst the dandelions,
Barking and whimpering,
As their owner hurried
Out the door to their black Mercedes,
Quickly forgetting
About their spoiled ladies,
Scurrying amongst the dandelions,
The ladies forgot the world,
They barked and achoo-ed
The flower puffs,
That came out in little tufts,
Their tiny paws
Pit-patting on the back patio,
Howling at the man in the radio.
