Your POV

I sighed and stared at my 'Defense Against the Dark Arts' book, the photo of the reflective rock reminding me that the full moon was tonight. As class ended I slammed the book shut and grabbed my bag.

Leaving the classroom I crashed into another person, we both dropped our books from how hard the impact was. I looked up and was met with golden brown eyes, scars were marked all over his tan skin. Just seeing a person so handsome brought heat to my face, I could see his ears turn pink as he looked at me as well.

I picked up a few of his books and passed them to him, a small smile forming on his face as I did. At that moment I realized I hadn't apologized "s-Sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going" the smile that once was there, disappeared. His eyes shifted to the books I had dropped, he let out a sigh "No-no. That was my fault" he handed them to me and got up. He pulled my up with a surprisingly strong grip.

He smiled one last time and walked off with a few other boys, leaving me stunned.

I cracked my knuckles and stretched, I set my quill down and stood up. My roommate and basically only friend, Alice Fortescue (Longbottom), walked in. Her cheeks were painted a deep red and she held a bouquet of roses, she giggled happily and fell on her bed with an overly dramatic sigh.

I smirked " What's up Ali?" her long eyelashes fluttered as she blinked, she smiled giddily "Frank asked me to the Yue Ball!" she raised her hand for a high five.

I gave her a bright smile and went to return it but, a sharp pain struck me in the gut. Her eyes widened "Is-Is it that time of the month? " i nodded solemnly, however after a few seconds it stopped and I gave her a smile.

"I'm okay, just a pre-transformation" she nodded softly, and set her flowers into a vase.

"So, Y/N, did anyone ask you to the dance yet?" I rolled my eyes "Alice, you know even if I did get asked I'd say no."

She bit her lip evilly "Then who was that kid you were staring at when you fell?~"

I glared at her fiercely, even though I tried to force it down, I blushed. Hard.

I rolled my eyes "Whatever. He's probably going with someone."

As she was about to protest, our two other roomies came in. The shorter girl named Lilly and the slightly taller one named Molly, they sat down on their beds while talking about who asked them to the dance.  Lilly, who was quite kind, wondered if I had been asked. I shook my head no.

Lilly and Molly are the kind of friends that you bring everywhere but only because your one friend is friends with them.

Lilly smirked softly "Well, James and Remus were talking about you~" I choked on my own breath "Is Remus the cute guy with scars on his face?" She nodded smugly.

Sure, I had never really met Remus, but I had a vague idea of who he was. After all, you could see him in the common room quite often and he was friends with Lilly's boyfriend, James.

Lilly smiled and giggled cheekily "You likeeee himmm" I threw my pillow at her "I do not!" My cheeks were already red, it didn't help my side of the argument. It soon turned into a pillow fight ,and by the time we were all exhausted it was time for me to leave.

20 minutes earlier

Remus's POV

After I had walked away with Sirius and James (Peter can go f**k himself) Lilly walked up to hug James, they already had plans to go dance at the ball. James gave a her a short kiss and turned to me "So, who are you going with?" I threw my book at him "You know I don't dance." He dodged the hard cover literature that was about to hit his head. Sirius laughed "Oh, come on moony. I saw you ogling that hot chick you toppled onto" he wiggled his eyebrows. I growled at him "I was not!" James snickered. Lilly just giggled "If you really like her that much I can set you up" I sighed softly "You would do that? How do you even know her?" She smiled and opened her schedule. In most of her classes she was seated next to the girl named Y/N L/N, she then showed me her dorm set up. They were roommates, she looked back up at me and smiled "I'll definitely set you up" I blushed a bit harder and picked up the book I threw at James. We started walking and soon got to the common room, personally I stayed by the fire to read.
