Chapter 2

As Rainbow Blitz and his fellow pony racers raced around the track, Rainbow Dash cheered him on from the pit, and said "Come on, Rainbow!" Just then, AJ appeared wearing a rainbow hat as he said "Pardon me! Best friend coming through!" He cheered Rainbow Blitz on as he said "Go Blitz! Woohoo!" One of the colts cheered him on from his seat as he said "Rainbow Blitz!" One of the fans cheered him on from the field as he said "Go, ninety-five!" He honked his horn, and cheered loudy, annoying the other ponies. Then, Rainbow Blitz went up to a pony racer named Jet Set as he said "Hey, Jet Set! Your blinker's on!" As he went past him, he said "What?!" Jet Set said. "No, it's...hey! Your blinker's on." "Good comeback, Jet Set!" A pony racer named Big Daddy McColt said as he zoomed past him. Then, Rainbow Blitz, Jet Set, and Big Daddy McColt entered the pit as Claude said "And into the pit goes Rainbow Blitz, Big Daddy McColt, and Jet Set. These three are fun to watch, aren't they Fashion Plate?" "You know, Claude, I can't tell they have more fun on or off the track."

Snap Shot had just finished putting the wheels on Rainbow Blitz's racing carriage as he said "You're good to go!" As Rainbow Blitz began pulling out of the pit, he looked at Jet Set, and said "You're getting a car wash too, Jet Set?" As he went past him, he said "No! You're getting a car wash, Blitz." "Get them back now." Jet Set's crew chief named Flash Magnus said as Jet Set pulled out of the pit. As the last lap of the race, Rainbow Blitz zoomed past them, and crossed the finish line. After the race, he was being interviewed by a unicorn pony named Lily Lace who said "Rainbow Blitz, how do you keep your focus racing against Big Daddy McColt and Jet Set?" "I mean, I think the key is we respect each other." Rainbow Blitz said. "These stallions are real class act." Just then, Big Daddy McColt's pit crew sprayed fire extinguisher foam and confetti in his face as they and Big Daddy McColt walked past him, and he said "Congratulations, cupcake!" Rainbow Blitz wiped the fire extinguisher off of himself as he said "Oh, they're gonna pay." The next race after three hundred and fifty laps, Jet Set had zoomed past Rainbow Blitz, and crossed the finish line, and they cheered as Flash Mangus said "Go, go, Apple Cider!" After that, Lily Lace interviewed him as she said "Great win today, Jet Set!"

"Thank you, Lily Lace." Jet Set said. "It was a great move towards our-!" He was interrupted when a bucket of water was dropped on his head as he said "Hey, hey!" He looked up to see that it was Snap Shot who did that as he said "Got you!" Jet Set's pit crew, Rainbow Blitz, and Big Daddy McColt laughed as Jet Set said "Ha ha, laugh it up! Real funny!" He shook the water off of his mane, and it poofed up. Back in Appleloosa, Rainbow Blitz was practing in the canyon racing track as his friends cheered him on, and Snap Shot said "Come on!" Keep it going buddy!" AJ said. The next race at night, after three hundred and fifty races, Rainbow Blitz zoomed past his fellow pony racers, and crossed the finish line as he said "Woo!" Later that night, Rainbow Blitz went up to Dumb-Bell and Hoops as he said "Hey! Are my sponsers happy today?" "Stop wining for crying out loud!" Dumb-Bell said. "We're running out of carriage bumper spray to sell, Rainbow Blitz!" They chuckled as Chargrill Breadwinner went up to Rainbow Blitz, and said "Rainbow Blitz!" "Hey, Chargrill Breadwinner!" Rainbow Blitz said. "How's my favorite competitor?" "Just say the word, I'll boot Jet Set off the Apple Cider team, and replace him with you." "You know I can hear you, right?" Jet Set asked. "I'm right here!" "Bye, Jet Set!" Rainbow Blitz said as he walked away. "See you next week!" Jet Set glared at Chargrill Breadwinner as Rainbow Blitz said "We're not!" Chargrill Breadwinner just looked at Jet Set as he said "Oh, come on now! I'm joking!"
