Michael
I came into the kitchen looking for Ben so that I could talk to him about the Ed Sullivan show last night.
"Ben? Ben, we were at the Ed Sullivan show last night. It was amazing. You should have heard the crowd." I started to look all around for him. I was getting confused and worried. "Where are you Ben? Ben? Ben?" Until I found him but he was dead. "No! Mother! Joseph!" I raced upset to their room.

"Michael, what happened?" I asked Michael looked very sad.
"Ben's dead, he's gone. He was my pet, he was my friend." Michael panicked.
"Michael calm down."
"Oh thank God, that thing is gone. I hated that disgusting rat anyway." Joseph moaned going back to sleep.
Michael ran back to the kitchen disappointed. I stepped out of my bed and ran to the kitchen to talk to him.
"Why did he have to go now?" Michael asked, looking at the dead rat.
"Michael listen, we can't have rats, mice and all that in our house." I put my hand on his shoulder.
"But he was my only friend Mother, I needed him to keep me company and have someone to talk to every day but now that he's gone, I can't do that anymore. I can't have any real friends to talk to because of rehearsals. I don't like my life." He cried on my shoulder. I hugged him tightly.
