Innocence

It had been a week since Jungkook watched that live.

He hadn't left the house since then. He was too worried about running into Jimin and having to face his guilt.

He knew it was a cowardly move but he didn't have an other option.

That was until he ran out of groceries.

He sighed before stepping out of his house. He had to go so he could continue to survive.

He was worried but he knew he had to leave at some point and he couldn't just keep calling in sick and forcing his assistant to do all his work.

Finally he had left the house and was at the grocery store browsing items when he accidentally bumped into someone.

He was taken aback at first but opened his eyes to see...

"Jimin.." he mumbled as he just stared.

He already felt the guilt rising fast in his throat and he didn't like it.

Jimin's shocked expression changed to a sweet and shy smile as his cheeks began to flush at the sigh of the alpha in front of him.

"H-hi Jungkook.." He said in a hushed tone, feeling a little extra shy.

Jungkook frowned.

His heart hurt.. he felt so bad to see this boy be so kind to him when his thoughts about him the week before where lewd and disgusting.

"Hey.." Jungkook said, his shame laced in his gentle tone.

He couldn't bare to be cold to Jimin after what he had done.

His wolf just wouldn't let him.

Jimin's smile grew "it seems we've been running into each other a lot huh..?" He said kindly to strike up a conversation.

Jungkook nodded and looked behind Jimin to see all the boxes he was staking.

He cringed at all the work the small boy had to do all on his own.

Jungkook pursed his lips "isn't that too much work for someone.... of your stature??" He asked with a slight raise of his eyebrow.

Jimin looked behind himself and giggled a little "w-well.. it's lots of work but.. I still get payed what I was promised. I can do it." He said with determination.

Jungkooks heart swelled.. this time with warmth.

Jimin was just the sweetest and most considerate person.

Jungkook nodded and Jimin let out a cute gasp.

"I have to get back to work!! It was really nice to see you again Jungkookie...!~ I hope to see you once more.." he says with a sweet grin before continuing to stack items on the shelf.

Jungkook's heart began to pound and he had to stop himself from smiling at the nickname he was given to keep his pride.

"Goodbye Jimin." He said before walking away.

When he left the store was when he finally cracked, a giant grin appearing on his face. He had no words for how he felt about Jimin.

He didn't even know how to explain it. It was like everything about that boy just intrigued and entertained him more.

That sweet voice.. adorable face.. kind smile.. it all had him smiling like an idiot all the way home.

Jimin squealed as he flopped on the couch, pushing a pillow to his face and blushing in a fit of giggles.

He had just gotten home after finishing work at the café and he didn't stop smiling all day.

Taehyung chuckled and rubbed the boy's back. Seeing Jimin happy was the only thing he had ever wanted.

"Tae he's so cool!!~" the blonde exclaimed.

Taehyung slightly frowned and raised his left eyebrow "who??" He asked.

"Jungkook!!~" Jimin replied, quickly sitting up and startling Taehyung with his sudden movements.

"He's so cool Taetae..!~ Wah!! W-what if he becomes.. m-my Alpha??" He asked, pure excitement and hope clouding his thoughts.

Taehyung frowned even more.

"Woah Jimin.. slow down okay..? Didn't you only just meet him officially??" He asked with furrowed eyebrows.

Jimin sighed and nodded to confirm his words "yeah.. b-but.. he just.. agh~ every time I see him I get so happy and.. I feel so safe~ he must be my alpha!!~" his innocent voice said with a goofy smile.

Taehyung let a growl escape his throat, catching Jimin slightly off guard.

"Taetae..?" He called and leaned forward to try and read Taehyung's expression.

Suddenly the alpha turned quickly and gripped Jimin by his shoulders "what's so great about him anyways??" He sneered.

Jimin was startled and frightened but his wolf was too cowardly to do anything about it.

"Why do you want him.. huh??" He growled.

"I-I.." Jimin stuttered out, not knowing how to respond to questions like that.

Finally Taehyung snapped out of his trance and his eyes widened a little "o-oh god.. Jiminie.. chim baby I'm sorry.." he whispered.

He really did feel bad for putting Jimin into a situation like that. He was kind of ashamed of himself.

"I-it's okay.." Jimin whispered.

The latter sighed and pulled the sweet boy into a gentle hug.

"I'd never hurt you Mochi.. I promise okay..?" He said in a reassuring tone to help the small boy to feel better and a little more comfortable.

The smaller of the two hugged back, relieved to see that his friend was alright. He was still kind of confused about what the outburst was really about though.

He shook his head and just decided to ignore it. Freaking out and speculation would have done more harm and Jimin knew that.

"It's okay Taetae.. I love you!" He exclaimed sweetly and gave Taehyung a friendly kiss on the lips, much like the ones he would give family and close friends.

Taehyung hid his blush and sighed. He knew Jimin meant it in an innocent way and only did that because his parents raised him that way.

However he couldn't help but wish it was more than that.

He shook his head and pushed his thoughts away for Jimin's sake.

"I'm glad Jiminie.." he said gently "alright.. I'm.. going home.. I'm glad you had a good day.." he said kindly, faking a smile for Jimin's sake and leaving his house.
