"Come on Grayson, your seriously gonna act like this, it was one week what's the big deal?" Jenny complains slamming his locker shut, he looks at her and rolls his eyes.

"One week, Jenny, one week you didn't speak to me, one week i got stoned by myself, one week i went without my best friend all for what? some stupid guy?" Grayson retaliates, he so pissed off Jenny's been completely blowing him off for a week to hang out with her new boy toy.

"I'm allowed other friends Grayson, it's not all about you" She shouts

"Exactly it's never about me" He storms off leaving jenny stood there while trying to ignore the eyes following him outside.

He sits down on one of the benches outside of the school letting the breeze cool him off, he so beyond annoyed he can't believe she would ditch him, for another guy. He feels someone sit next to him, automatically assuming it was jenny he opens his mouth.

"I don't care Jenny just leave me alone" Grayson sighs bringing his legs up and crossing them in front of him.

"It's Ethan" he looks up to see Ethan sat there looking wrecked.

"What's wrong?" Graysons eyes search Ethan's eyes trying to find something.

"My parents are getting a divorce and my biological mother passed away" He softly says looking down, i can tell this is hard for him.

"I am so sorry Ethan" he places his hand softly on Ethan's hand and gives him a small smile.

"I've got something that will take the edge off" Grayson smirks as Ethan's eyes look into his "Come one we're skipping" Grayson grabs Ethan's wrist and pulls him into his car and drives to his place.

They arrive at the edge of town and walk into the woodlands and follow the trail. They walks for about ten minutes before they arrive at a clearing, Grayson continues to walk until he stops.

He smiles making Ethan smile as they walk forward and a huge waterfall stands tall in front of Ethan. The water splashes and makes a peaceful noise, he notices Grayson sitting down on a picnic blanket and follows him sitting down. He pulls out a bag of weed and carefully rolls a spliff, he lights it up and inhales it before letting out a long breath, he passes Ethan the spliff and his breath hitches and he takes a drag the air out of Ethan's lungs gets sucked out and the air around him becomes lighter and his mood lightens up.

He looks at Grayson who's sat back on his arms watching the waterfall, the sound relaxing Ethan and he lays back.

"Where did you find this?" Ethan asks

"After Katie, i got lost i didn't know where or who i was, without her i wasn't me i couldn't be me, so one night a week after i got drunk and went out for a walk and i stumbled across the clearing, i kept walking and walking trying to piece everything together, i fell apart i was looking for some type of glue to keep together then i came across this place, this was my glue. I then met one of Jenny's friends they got me into drugs, i came here by myself with a bit of weed and vodka and washed my sorrows away" Grayson explains and Ethan immediately feels guilty.

"I'm sorry Grayson, i didn't mean for any of that to happen" Grayson can hear the pity on Ethan's voice and looks over to see tears in his eyes.

"Hey why are you crying?" He wipes his tears and holds Ethan's face in front of his seeing his bloodshot eyes, and the guilt swimming in his orbs makes Grayson's stomach twist.

"I'm just so so so fucking sorry if i d-don't cheat on k-katie then she would still be alive right now, and you would still my grayson and we wouldn't be this version of us. I'm so sorry that i killed Katie" He breaks down into tears and Grayson pulls him into a hug the tears soaking through his t-shirt instantly, his hand caresses the back of his head and he holds him for a few seconds before pulling back.

"You didn't kill Katie, i did, i got her into drugs and she wanted to use something stronger by that i thought she meant coke, not fucking meth, she overdosed. And it was my fault not yours okay?" Grayson looks into Ethan's eyes and he nods.

"Yeah" Ethan chuckles through the tears and looks down not liking the intense stare.

"Now strip your clothes were skinny dipping" He smiles cheekily making Ethan chuckle. He watches Grayson strip to nothing and he watches with wide eyes as his butt jiggled every step he took before jumping into the water below, he chuckles and strips to nothing before water bombing into the freezing cold water below them.

He resurfaces and breathes heavily watching Grayson wiping his face, he smirks before splashing him in the face getting it in his mouth and eyes he retaliates back by splashing him harder, they both laugh hysterically.

For a short moment they were who they really are.
