Strange Lovers

A.N. I just want to say thank you to Charlie_2005 for believing in this book, and in me. I hope you enjoy! (This book is all in Harry's perspective)

  I was laying in my bed, which was way too stiff for my back. But, what do you expect when your relatives (If they can even be called that) hate your guts. Now that's not important,  but what is important is that I would be fifteen in mere minutes.

(A.N. I know that when Harry and Cedric met it was when Harry was in fourth year and Cedric was in seventh. But in this I'm going to make them 1 year apart. Sorry if you're bothered by that.)
 
    As I was just laying there I felt a very sharp pain run through my back, up my spine and throughout my whole body. I had to hold the screams in because this pain is the worst that I have ever felt. Which is saying something since I am abused by my "relatives."
  After about 20 minutes the pain had finally stopped and I was left panting and sweating.
    Once I had finally caught my breath, I decided to look in the broken mirror that was in my closet. In which, Vernon decided to push me against.
  It was a really hard shove that make some of the shards go into my back for accidentally "burning" the bacon. To be honest I was speechless from what I could see in the small mirror.
   I had fluffy cat ears and tail that where both midnight black. Also while checking out my tail and ears I noticed I now grew a little taller but, not that much.
  While seeing all of the new changes, I started to freak out since this was all new to me, and I simply didn't know what to do with them. Or know how to cover them up. While having a small breakdown, I heard some pecking on the very small window I was allowed in my room.
   I then looked towards my window and saw an owl that was pecking its beak against the glass. Rushing over to it, I let the bird in. When the bird landed on the end of my bed, I saw that she has two letters.
   Petting her wings gently, I took the letters out of her claws and smiled sadly at her.
   "I am sorry girl I don't have any treats for you." The owl just nuzzled my hand.
   I looked at both letters and noticed one of them was from Ron while, the other was from Gringohtts. I decided to open the one from Ron first.
   As I had expected it to, it put a smile on my face. Yet, I was worried at the same time. Since from what I saw wasn't like my won won at all.

(A.n. Sorry I had to put Lavender's nickname in here it's just to funny not to include it)

  Dear Harbear,
How have ya been buddy? Hope those damn muggles haven't hurt you to much. Also, mum told us that we are picking you up later today at 1 in the morning. I know it's early but we both know due you your insomnia you don't sleep until you see fit. I miss you bud and I have news to tell you when we see each other again.

   I let out a small giggle at Ron's actions and I looked over at the clock and it read 12:45 a.m. I quickly grabbed the other letter and read it as well.
       Dear Mr. Potter,
We have been notified that you have gone through your inheritance and we would like for you to, at your earliest convenience, to come and get it sorted out.

  My eyes widened as I let out a shaky breath and got my, of what little I have, things around and by the time I had finished. I heard Ron's voice just outside of my door.
   "Hey shush! He might be asleep early for once! We don't want to wake him up since you loud mouths can't keep quiet. Also his "family" is also sleeping." Ron sneered at the rest of the Weasley clan while, I giggled and came out of my room and ran towards Ron.
    He happily opened his arms for me and I just nuzzled myself into his chest missing his hugs. He is still taller than me but, that also means I can cuddle him better.

(A.N. so with Ron and Harry, they are like brothers and whenever one of them have a bad day the other will cuddle them and just give them love until they feel better. Had to clarify that real quick)

  "Miss me much?" He chuckled as I nodded and he noticed my ears and tail but didn't say anything and just ran his fingers through my hair in a calming way.
