Before I start I hope that you have followed the first rule which was

Stop chasing and start living

And for people who haven't done the first rule yet, Don't bother yourself and complete reading because this would be useless, and here in my book as you can tell each rule here is completing the other so, complete the first task to reach the first tiny step of Happiness.
.

.
.
.

The people who are still reading till now, I guess you have finished the first rule so I have a few questions for you to answer:

-How are you feeling now after letting go of the people who made you sad -even for once in your life- and were always putting you a second option for them while they were the whole world to you?

I know it may be hard for some of you but based on scientific research they say that

"No matter how strong or deep your love was to any person, it just takes 21 days for the brain to forget the love and create new feelings"

So my dear reader, stop being so emotional on that and move on

They won't have you back....yet

Back to our main topic of this chapter which is
(Forgive yourself)

To love others, you should love yourself first because once you learn what love is you'll automatically give that feeling of love to the others.

So that means to forgive yourself you should forgive others first.

Many people see that forgiving other means weakness and you have no dignity by doing that.

You see, nobody has ever looked at the other side of forgiving.

To forgive someone means a lot. It means that you let go of the past, it means that you are ready to start a new chapter in your life, a new people, a new beginning.

Some people may ask how am I supposed to forgive myself?

It's really simple.

After reading this, I want you to do the following steps starting from now:

1. Bring a Notebook

2. Write down how are you feeling about yourself.
It could be anything even a compliment somebody gave you.

Like (This morning my dad told me that he was proud of me when I Stood up for myself against those who were putting me down, I shouldn't have been so shy this morning in that job interview, I'm really happy with myself because I was able to make the dinner all by myself today without anyone's help......)

As I said before it could be anything even a thing you did this morning.

Just write.

3. You must write at least 3 points about how are you feeling about yourself

4. Read every point you wrote out loud but before you say it

•If it's something bad about yourself say before it "I forgive myself in.."

•if it's something good say" I will continue doing...."

It may sound silly to you at the beginning but believe me day by day, you'll get used to that. Also, it's way better than saying words that might bring you down more.

The lesson you should know from this practice is:

You must only say positive things to yourself.

Even when there's no positive thing, say that negative thing to you in a positive way or don't say at all!!.

I'll tell you something good I once read in a book

"Whenever you think of a bad thing you have immediately think of 3 positive things you have and say it to yourself"

Now tell me are you feeling better now?

No?

It's okay I don't actually admit that this way will make you feel any better but at least now you know how are you feeling about yourself.

Right?

Wrong.

I bet that all the things you've written now or at least half of it you are just trying to convince yourself that you've made it and the proof of that is you kept thinking about what to write first on the other hand.

But don't worry, at least taking that step is better than nothing.

People who actually know themselves well will just write without thinking because they are always doing this inside their heads from time to time.
They have their mind organized regularly.

Don't panic if you didn't find things to write because this book is helping you to search in yourself and bring the best out of you.

Till now, I haven't actually answered the main question of the chapter
How to forgive yourself?

In your opinion, how to forgive yourself?

Maybe stop regretting the things you've done in the past?
-and I'll write a whole chapter about regretting later-

Or maybe stop putting the blame on yourself every time something bad happens to you?
- I mean why does it always have to be you?

Maybe it's not your fault at all that you're feeling this way maybe it's someone else who's sitting right now and having a pizza while you're here weeping about it and not enjoying your life......what I mean is why does it always have to be you?-

Wait!!! I do have a good one too

How about learning to stop thinking bad about yourself and stop putting yourself down?
-believe me, thinking bad of yourself is really bad for you because once you think that way, your subconscious will immediately think that way and you'll see life from a bad view and believe me you'll hate it more than you do!!!-

you'll be pessimistic

I guess you knew what are you going to do now.

If you don't, it's not a problem. You'll find yourself writing once you find the paper in front of you.

anyway, go and grab your note and start typing

Forgive yourself

After this, write down what we've discussed earlier and I'll see you in the next chapter where you can
