"so your telling me your going out again?" kian asked me as he sat in his usual spot, my bed.
"yes believe it or not" i replied sassy as i brushed my hair.
"i don't actually because me, scarlett, sophie, AND charlotte always try and get you to go out but you never EVER budge" kian ranted to me.
"well people change" i simply said and walked to my closet and grabbed one of kians old hoodies that he gave me and threw it on.
"bull shit" kian said as i walked back into my room from the closet.
"suit yourself, i'm gone" i said rushing out the door "lock up!" i yelled and closed the front door. i turned to see zion resting against his car waiting for me. he wore white jeans, a red puma shirt and puma sneakers and he looked fine as hell.
"hey" i greeted him shyly walking up to him giving him a hug.
"hey" he replied and opened the door for me. he jogged around the other side and started the car. he backed out of my driveway and grabbed my hand and held it in his as we drove.
"and we are here" he stopped the car at an outlook and got out, opened my door and then went to the back of the car and grabbed a blanket and a box of pizza.
"do you have any coronas?" i asked jokingly and he smiled at me.
"is that even a question" he smiled and set the blanket and pizza on the hood of the car. he came back with a six pack of coronas.
"i'll help you up" he said motioning towards the top of the car. i looked up unsure "come on you'll be fine" he insisted. he opened the passenger door and i stepped up. "i'm going to have to touch your butt" zion warned me innocently.
"it's fine" i laughed and looked down at him. i stepped on the seat with my right foot and zion pushed me up so my left foot could reach. he handed me the blanket and i laid it out and the pizza and drinks came up next. he hopped up on the other side of the car and sat next to me resting back on his arms. i pulled out two coronas from the pack and handed him one. he popped the cap off both of ours with his keys.
"here to new new beginnings" i started
"and no more awkward dates" he smiled and we clicked the bottles and took a sip.
"i thought we were forgetting about that?" i asked him remembering the promise we made.
"shh, i won't tell if you don't" i laughed at him and took another sip of the beer. i put the bottle down and pulled a piece of the cheese pizza and took a bite.
"pineapple on pizza?" zion asked. we had been playing a game as we watched the sunset. the game was simple we just asked each other about things we liked.
"never."
"ok good same"
"most used emoji" i asked him taking another slice of pizza.
"the cap emoji, what about you?"
"the bread emoji"
"the bread emoji!?" he laughed at me.
"hell yeah" i defended myself and he still laughed.
