I walk downstairs tired. I walk into the family room and my mother is on the couch.
"Where is dad?" I ask.
"Working." She says. I walk into the kitchen and look at the coffee pot.
"Yay coffee." I say a little loudly.
"Beth be quiet." She says.
"Sorry mom." I make my coffee then my phone vibrates.
Lacie: hey wrud
Beth: nothin why?
Lacie: can I come over?
"Mom Lacie is coming over." I yell.
"Ok make sure it alright with her parents."
Beth: come over.
5 minuets later I hear her pull up. i run outside and hug her.
"It's been a while."
"I know. 1 month." She said.
"You got clothes?" I asked her.
"Of course." She says. We walk to my room and I turn on my tv. I look though the channels and see Harry Potter and I squeal. Lacie looks at me like I'm crazy.
"What the hell is up with you?" she asked then looked at the tv.
"Oh never mind." I laugh at that and select the movie. The movie ended and it was already 10 o'clock.
"I need to take a shower." I say. I walk into the shower and turn the water on. I hear something but I ignore it. I hear the toilet flush.
"OWW SON OF A BITCH. WHAT THE HELL LACIE?" I scream. I hear laughing then the door close. I get out of the shower and get dressed I'm my pjs. Witch is just a cut tee-shirt and short shorts. I go into my room and see Lacie reading my diary.
"Really you're in love with that nerd? You can do better." She says. I look down at my feet and feel a tear come down.
"Woah Beth no need to cry." She says trying to cheer me up.
"Yes there is you just... you know what never mind." I say jumping into bed and turning the lights out.
