"I've had enough of this bullshit." A frustrated Hoseok suddenly entered the loft apartment, a bag of groceries under his right arm, and a happy Jimin under his left one.

The rest of the boys turned their heads in confusion and furrowed their eyebrows at Hoseok. "What happened now?" Yoongi mumbled after turning back to the TV.

Jungkook and Taehyung put their spoons down and took a break from stuffing their mouths with rice, to hear Hoseok out.

"Is something wrong?" Namjoon turned the stove off and threw a towel over his shoulder. He then turned to Hoseok while folding his arms.

"Yes, something is very wrong." Hoseok sighed and walked over to the counter to hand the groceries to Namjoon. Jimin jogged over to Jungkook and Taehyung. They looked at him with curious faces while he snuck in between them to steal some rice. He shrugged, not knowing what Hoseok was on about.

"We're all single! We're so fucking sad and lonely." Hoseok threw his hands up in the air to show how frustrated he was. "Jeez, you don't have to remind us." Yoongi muttered and gave Hoseok a sour expression.

"Pfft, sad? What are you talking about? I'm living my best life." Jin suddenly came out of the bathroom with wet hair, a nice and manly scent following him. "Jin hyung always smells so nice after showering." Jimin whispered to Taehyung, who nodded slightly.

Jungkook chuckled. "I'd be suprised if he came out of the shower still smelling like shit."
Taehyung lowered his head, a grin growing across his face after hearing Jungkook's comment.

"Yeah sure, whatever. But I know that we all would be happier if we had a partner. You know, someone to be all lovey dovey with." Hoseok leaned his back against the counter with his arms crossed. Namjoon stood next to him while preparing dinner. "Yeah, that would actually be nice." Namjoon smiled.

"Of course it would be nice, but finding someone is hard.. It takes so long, and I'm too lazy." Yoongi threw his head back, resting it on the couch. He stared up at the ceiling and sighed.

"It'd be nice to have someone to cuddle with, I'd work hard just for that." Jungkook said, while resting his chin in the palm of his hands. "I like cuddles." Taehyung mumbled.

"Why are you so upset about this suddenly, hyung? We've been single for a really long time." Jimin asked while walking over to the couch to sit down. He brought Jungkook's bowl of rice with him.

"Because.. Valentine's day is coming up, and I'm tired of us being love deprived. I have an idea, let's talk about it over dinner." Hoseok nodded firmly and observed all of them to see their reactions.

Yoongi looked like he didn't care that much, Jimin was focused on eating, Namjoon seemed really down all of a sudden, Jin just nodded, Jungkook gave Hoseok a slight smile and Taehyung stared at nothing, he was lost in his thoughts.

"Eat up, losers. I won't be cooking again for a while so you'll have to settle with Yoongi's low quality food instead." Namjoon smirked while gesturing for everyone to start.

"Hey! My cooking isn't that bad." Yoongi stuck his tongue out at Namjoon, earning a teasing smile back. "Don't worry, Joon. The pizza place isn't that far." Jimin giggled, his comment causing all of them to laugh, even Yoongi.

They ate the food together and talked about their days. Hoseok stayed quiet about his idea until everyone had empty plates.

"Are you all finished?" He asked while rubbing his hands together. "If I eat more, I will explode." Taehyung said and leaned back in his chair while rubbing his tummy. Jungkook glanced at him and giggled, causing Taehyung to blush.

"Alright, now hear me out.." Hoseok started, waiting for them all to look at him. They boys turned their attention to him and nodded. "So, I was thinking.. what if we give each other love this Valentine's day, since no one else will."

"But-" Yoongi let out but was cut off immediately by Hoseok's waving hand. "No, wait.. Listen. We could all write short notes for each other, to express how we really feel. Romantic or not, it'd still be nice to get some affection. It will be anonymous though. We'll put the notes in a bowl and then on Valentine's day, I'll read them out loud for everyone. When we're done, we can choose to reveal ourselves or just stay anonymous. What do you think?" Hoseok finished and watched his friends with excitement in his eyes.

"Uhm.. I'm not really great with words." Namjoon shrugged. "That's okay, just try to express yourself.. in your own way." Hoseok smiled.

"So we're not supposed to write names?" Jin asked while rubbing his neck. Hoseok shook his head. "No, not your own. But you have to mention the other person of course."

"I think it sounds great." Jungkook said while giving Hoseok a thumbs up.
"Me too." Taehyung nodded excitingly.
"Me three." Jimin smiled.

"Awesome, so we'll do it?" Hoseok asked with puppy eyes. "We're all for it." Jungkook nodded, pointing at himself and Taehyung and Jimin. "I guess I can do it.." Yoongi shrugged.
"If you all want to do it then I'm in." Jin said.

Everyone turned to Namjoon, who still looked pretty unsure.

"I'm assuming that if I don't participate in the writing.. I won't get any notes?" He asked, and Hoseok nodded. It was quiet for a few seconds.

"Ah fine, I'll do it.." Namjoon sighed.
"Yay!" Hoseok exclaimed while clapping his hands, startling everyone else. "I'm so excited for this. Please work hard on the notes and try to take it seriously. Also, you have to write a note for everyone so no one will end up with nothing." Hoseok smiled while getting up from his seat, the boys nodded at him.

"Alright friends, I'll see you tomorrow. Thank you for the food, Namjoon." Hoseok said before walking towards his room. He gave everyone a last glance before disappearing into his bedroom.

Everyone took a moment to think, then they cleaned table and did the dishes together. When that was done, they all went into their bedrooms. Namjoon and Jungkook shared one, Yoongi and Taehyung shared one and Jin, Jimin and Hoseok had their own.

They all went to sleep with Hoseok's words echoing in their head. The most conflicted one was Taehyung, who had a lot of feelings inside of him that he was afraid to confront.
