Ruby POV
I zip through the forest, resting only to recharge my Semblance. Luckily, I had made it out of the fungal forest before anybody could catch me. I stare at the sea, breathing in the fresh, misty air.
Ruby - Alright! Let's do this.
I dash forward, my destination being the first buoy on the ocean. Then the next, then the next, then the next. Until I did it. I reached the last buoy.
Ruby - There's the desert. And 3... 2... 1... Hiyaah!
I jump, using my crescent rose continuously to close the gap. The moment I landed, a trap went off right under me. It didn't do much, just make a loud noise.
Ruby - A loud...Oh no.
Ahead was a pod of Grimm, and they were headed towards me. Fast.
Ruby - Eat it!
Neptune POV
Neptune - Please! No! Sun!
Sun - We gotta hurry!
Neptune - But the ocean!
Sun - *Sigh* Stay cool, okay? I'll win for us.
With that, Sun began jumping across the sea.
Neptune - Well. I guess I'll head back.
I begin to make my way back. Throughout the noise of screaming huntsman, yelling huntresses, and dying Grimm, I har an odd noise. A low hum. I look around the area to find it. Eventually, the noise leads to what seemed like a blue light. Upon approaching, someone pops out of it.
Yuna - Hey! It's me, Yuna.
Neptune - Oh, Hey.
Yuna - You found the secret desert entrance.
Neptune - Wait, repeat that?
Yuna- This will let you skip the ocean and land smack in the middle of the desert.
Neptune - Thank Poseidon! OMG! Gimme.
Yuna - Have fun!
Neptune - Definitely.
Timeskip
Yang POV
Blast after blast, I keep firing. Only stopping to reload my ammunition. Suddenly, the loudspeakers begin to sound.
Y/n - It seems like Fox and Coco have made it to the end! 2 out of 3000+ are already in. Only 24 spots left!
Yang - How the hell? I gotta get here now.
Eventually, I land on the roof of the mansion, effectively skipping the island.
Yang - A bird's eye view's the best.
I begin jumping down when I notice something shiny on the chimney funnel. A key. I get it then hurry into the central room. Upon my arrival, I find someone mid-teleport. I hurry over to another teleporter and slide in the key. It was real.
Timeskip
Jaune POV
I was slicing open some Grimm on the dark island when I heard the speaker.
Y/n - Our 11th contestant has made it! Congratulations Dew! Only 25 more slots to go!
Jaune - Shoot.
I ran for the gate, Grimm on my heel. Upon entering the gate, the Grimm immediately lose interest and back away.
Jaune - Phew!
