~Stalemate~ *Death Note Themed AU* Eve x *Character Choice*

Based Off:

Eve Hiro was a detective in a unit that worked in a special type of Law Enforcement. The branched she worked in dealt with Supernatural based deaths. Deaths that seemingly were caused by something other than normal manners of murder.

On her most recent case, people were seemingly dying without any physical marks on their body. No gun. No knife. No strangulation marks. Not even a hint of poison. They just suddenly dropped like flies.

While working on the case, she noticed a bystander that caught her gaze. Something seemed off about them. This prompted the young detective to approach this bystander.

"Are you family? Or even a friend? If so, perhaps you could contact other family to alert of them of the death." She commented.

"I'm not either... Simply interested in such an odd death." They stated, before they turned on their heal.
"Anyway, I'll be heading off officer."

Eve raised a brow, suspicion hitting her worse than before. Stepping forward, she lightly grabbed the person's wrist.
"I apologize for stopping you, but you'll have to write your name down since you crossed the tape without permission."

The person sighed reluctantly, but they wrote their name down before they left.

As soon as Eve had her chance, she began to research into this person, not letting up. She began to lose sleep. With every broadcast, she challenged this person. Each time, they responded.

Closer.

She was getting closer. She got so close, she began to get to know this person on a personal level. She got to see them past the villain that originally caught her eye.

Feelings other than hate and irritants began to form. Feelings other than indifference.

Will Eve be able to solve this case? Or will her newly developed feelings leave the case cold? Or will she fall victim to the charm that this person presents with every word they utter?

FandomSlayerEve I apologize if tagging you is a bother. ^^; Recently I've been listening to some of the music from the Death Note musical, and this gave me an idea for an Eve x Character of Choice scenario. ^°^
