The next few days moved really slowly. Hiyama was busy with some other work and had taken a few days off from teaching and Yuki felt like crawling into her bed and just lying there till he returned.
"Ugh...when is he coming back?" Yuki groaned to her good friend Utatane Piko. Piko was a boy with a feminine voice and appearance so he was often mistaken to be a girl. His hair was short and silver and sat smoothly on his head except for one extra long lock that stuck up like a hook shaped antenna! His one eye was green and the other blue, and he was really popular with the girls though not so popular with the boys.
"Yuki...have you considered telling him your true feeling?" Piko asked.
"No! Never!" Yuki turned red.
"Confess when he comes back. Trust me." Piko said, looking up at the sky.
"He sees me as a sister! Besides, he's way older than me!"
"Yuki...true love has no boundaries... And you will regret not telling him your feelings when you see another woman in his arms." Piko said.
"Piko..."
"What is it?"
"They're coming..."
Piko jumped up as he picked up the sound of screaming fan girls! "Damn! How did they find me?" He asked. Yuki shrugged. "Dunno! I'm going anyway! Bye~!"
"OI! Yuki!!! Don't leave me~!!!" Piko begged. But she was already out of sight.
"Piko-chan!" "Piko-kun!" The girls all squealed and formed a circle around the white haired boy.
"I made chocolate! Please taste it!"
"Be my dress up doll Piko-chan!"
"We're going to the cafe to get dessert today! Join us Piko-kun!"
Yuki lay on her bed and thought about what Piko said. She had held in her feelings for sixteen years! Hiyama deserved to know as well that she didn't simply think of him as a brother or a friend. She wanted to tell him. She hugged her pillow tightly and made a resolve. "I'm telling him!" She declared softly. She then put the pillow under her head, pulled the covers over her body and fell asleep.
