A day at the park

It was a warm, and cozy morning as you woke up in Spencer's arms. You smiled as the events that took place last night came flashing back at you. You looked over to the clock to see that it was eight thirty. So you turned to look at Spencer who was still asleep, and began kissing him on the cheek. He woke up and gave you a smile.

"Well good morning. Sleepy head." You said now rubbing his cheek.

"Good morning yourself." He replied in a croaky voice giving you a grin.

Last night had been your three year anniversary with Spencer. He had surprised you with a night out in the city. Going to your favorite restaurant, wine brewery, and your favorite ice cream shop. Then when you got back to the apartment you both shared together you spent the rest of the night making love to each other.

You laid in bed with Spencer for awhile just staring at each other and smiling until he spoke.

"Well we better get dressed." He said as he started getting out of bed.

"What, where are we going?" You asked sitting up straight on the headboard.

Spencer chuckled before replying. "I want to take you to the park."

"The park? What's at the park?" You asked getting out of bed, and walking over to the restroom. Spencer followed you inside.

"Well it's been a while since we've gone, and since I have the day off I want to spend it with you." He said wrapping his arms around your waist and kissing your neck.

Spencer stood behind you hugging you with his chin on your neck while you brushed your teeth.

"Are you not going to brush your teeth?" You asked looking at Spencer through the mirror. He just stared back smiling. You rinsed your mouth and looked up.

"What are you staring at?"
"You know I love you right?" Spencer asked looking at you straight into your eyes.
"Of course, you know I love you too right?"
"Yeah." He kissed you on your cheek
"Today and always." He told you, it was something you both would tell each other.
"Today and always." You replied. You moved so he could brush his teeth. You patted his back and left the restroom to get dressed.

You walked into your bedroom and looked inside your closet not knowing what to wear.

"So are we just going to the park or do I need to wear something for afterward." Just asked rummaging through your closet.

"Just the park, wear something comfortable." He said poking his head out the restroom to look at you with his toothbrush in his mouth.

"Alrighty something comfortable." You whispered to yourself.

--At the park--

You and Spencer got to the park, Spencer magically wanted to drive so you let him. You ended up wearing a maroon sweater with blue jeans and brown boots. As you got out of the car Spencer came hurrying to your side to help you out and hold your hand.

"What's gotten into you?" You ask Spencer as you both walk down to a near bench.
" What do mean? " he asks getting nervous
"What I mean is you wanted to drive here which you rarely do and you rush over to help me out of the car." You tell him sitting down on a bench. You sit criss-cross and turn your body so you can look at him.
"So what I am understanding from this conversation is its bad for me to be a good boyfriend?" Spencer asked jokingly.
"No! Of course not, your already an amazing boyfriend just that these are things you don't normally do is all."
"Well they're things I'm gonna start doing. Cause I wanna show just how much I love and appreciate you and I wanna show you that you deserve the world."
