Sora looked out to the window, eyes glued to the marvelous color of the blue sea as the lessons spoken in class barely managed to reach his ears. The boy just couldn't help but stare in wonder about all the places the sea could bring him instead of this boring math class. We could say that he has his priorities straight.
He had been staring out there for so long that he didn't even notice that the bell had rung, along with a short-haired girl coming his way with a grin. Cheek resting on the palm of his hand, Sora almost jumped out of his seat at the simple touch of her finger, not expecting it at all.
"Sora, don't you do anything else, but look at the sea? You should start listening to our classes before you regret it." Kairi pouted at the spiky-haired boy before him, crossing her arms in the process.
"Sorry Kairi. Mr. Axel's class was just so boring! I could have died of boredom if I had listened a minute more!" Sora couldn't help but complain to his childhood friend. He knew that no matter the misdeeds he would cause, Kairi would always understand where he was coming from, despite herself being someone more responsible and listening during her classes. Not even wanting to defy his logic, Kairi already gave up and sighed. The boy apologized once more before rising up from his seat and grabbing his bag, ready to go home.
They walked down the halls, arm in arm as they both chatted about their soon-to-be coming summer vacation until Kairi suddenly stopped in front of the gym's door. Sora looked at her in confusion about her sudden stop until he glanced inside. Ah, he forgot about Tidus and Wakka's basketball match. Suddenly feeling guilty, his voice roughened up a little as he told Kairi to hurry inside before their friends noticed that they were late. It felt like Kairi also forgot as she panicked her way inside. As they both rushed into the benches, the spiky boy then caught a certain someone in the corner of his eyes and it wasn't just anyone. It was Riku. What a great way to end the day.
