Becoming friends

Well yesterday wasn't a very good start for me and Levi. Today I'm going to make it up to him by becoming his friend. This time I woke up at 7:30, so I had enough time to get ready and get a bowl of cereal. Once I was done, I grabbed my keys, and headed out of the house. Since I don't have a car yet, I have to walk to school, but I'm okay with that. I walk over to Levi's house, so I can talk to him, I walk up his driveway and onto the porch where I'm left facing the front door. I was so nervous but I none the less knocked on the door. It took a few seconds, but then I could hear someone unlocking the door, and sure enough it was him. "Eren? What are you doing here?" Levi had a plain black shirt on with some blue jeans and black vans. "Well Levi I thought I would walk to school with you this morning." He looked down at his feet, maybe thinking for a bit about his answer. "Sure, just let me get my things real quick you brat." After that statement he closed the door and disappeared for about 10 seconds then came back out with his backpack and keys, and locked up his front door. We then walked down the driveway and on to the sidewalk. We were quiet for a little bit, until he spoke. "So how come you don't have a ride?" Well this is embarrassing, but I don't really have the money for a car right now, as soon as I told him that, I waited for him to laugh, but he never did. "Well Jeager me and you have that in common, if I need a ride I have to ask my sister." I nod my head as he tells me this, maybe this guy isn't so bad after all. "Umm...so Levi I was thinking, I know we didn't really get off to a good start yesterday, but I was wondering if maybe we could be friends?" He turned his head to look at me as we continue to walk. "Yeah yesterday I didn't plan on getting runned over by a brat, but I guess I can be friends with you." I started to blush as he said that, he seems like a really cool guy to be around. After that little conversation we stayed quiet and made it to the school. Once we got inside, we went to the cafeteria to get our breakfast. We got in line like the others and got our trays of food. I looked around and spotted my friends at one of the lunch tables. "Hey come on Levi let me introduce you to my friends." But when I turned around Levi was gone. I looked around for him, and I spotted him at a table by himself, I then walked to that same table and stood right next to him. "What are you doing over here?" He looked up at me with the most confused look ever. "I'm eating breakfast, what does it look like I'm doing?" I smirked as I grabbed him by the hand and pulled him up and on his feet. "You eat breakfast with your friends, not by yourself." He still looked confused, and a little angry. "What about my tray you brat!" I smile as I turn to look at him and pull him closer to my friends table. "It's alright you can have mine, I ate at home." He pulled his hand out of mine and stared at me. "Eren what friends am I going to sit with? You're the only friend I have." Wow, I felt sorry for this kid, he doesn't get what I'm trying to do. "Chill out Levi I'm not you're only friend. Everyone meet our new friend Levi."
