"GO BACK TO BED, SUNSHINE." Charlie told his youngest–daughter who had woken up to Bella's screams. "She's alright, she will be alright." He says persuading her to go back to her room. Elizabeth gave in to a little sigh before heading back to her room, she was worried about her sister, but fell back asleep like her dad had asked her to.
The next morning, Elizabeth, Bella and Jacob were in the truck. The oldest brunette had dragged her out so early in the morning just to go collect Jacob and the bikes. The blonde girl was extremely nervous about this, this seemed like a bad idea. But Jacob had said they were ready, as long as she stayed in the car, she'd be fine. She knew that.
Right now, the younger swan sat in the back of Bella's truck. Jacob and Bella were in the front as she drove to a private road, she kept going over little bumps on purpose knowing her little sister was worried. Elizabeth stares out the small window's next to the one seater – backseat, she could hear the bikes rattling in the back, her emotions were everywhere.
She tries to take her mind off of it, thinking of the week before when she reunited with Embry and Quil. She had missed them, she wished that she was with both boys at this moment, she didn't want to be with her sister. Not when she was like this. It scared her, it brought memories back of their mother, she was scared.
All of a sudden, Bella swerved on the road causing her to jostle out of her head and onto what was happening in the present. Her attention was on what the two in the front were looking at, "did you see that?" Bella exclaims. She climbed out the car causing the boy to follow her, Elizabeth stays in the backseat listening from Bella's open window.
She could hear the men on the cliff shouting from a distance, she recognised them as the ones that walked into her Uncle Billy's house. "They're not really fighting, Bella. They're cliff diving." Jacob laughs, he leans upon the truck, "scary as hell, but a total rush."
Elizabeth watches one of the men fall with a shout, "most of us jump from lower down, we leave the showing off to Sam and his disciples."
"You have some kind of beef with him or something?" Bella walks back over to Jacob, as he continues to stare out. Elizabeth was curious, but tense, she could feel a nagging in her chest, some sort of pull to the cliff.
"I don't know." Elizabeth turns her head back to Jacob. "They just think they run the place, Embry used to call them hall monitors on steroids, now look at him."
The young blue-eyed girl gasps, "Embry?" Her little whisper echoed throughout the wind that seemed to be blowing harshly towards them. She thought she seen him look her away. Must have been her imagination. "Jake, w-what happened to him?"
Jacob turns to the small girl, "he missed some school. Now, all of a sudden, he started following Sam around like a little puppy. Same thing happened with Paul and Jared."
Paul? Jared? Those names brought butterflies to flutter inside her tummy. She got a shivering feeling raving up and down her spine, she's never met them before, but she wanted to. They seemed to intrigue her, she shakes her head and turns back to see Embry diving off of the cliff.
