Chapter 4

MATTS POV

We were gonna watch the conjuring. I was really excited because I would get to be with Megan.

She's so perfect and gorgeous. I really like her. But I don't know what Kayla would do if she found out that I liked her best friend.

Kayla and Megan went to the kitchen to make some popcorn for the movie so that left me and Carter.

"Hey Carter. Can I tell you something?" I asked.

"Dude we're best friends. Of course you can."

"Ok. Well. I really-"

"We got the popcorn!" Kayla walked in with the popcorn.

"I'll tell you later" I told carter.

Carter sat on one end of the couch and I sat on the other. Kayla sat next to carter and Megan sat next to me.

~ MEGANS POV ~

After we made the popcorn we headed towards the living room and heard Matt about to tell Carter something.

I wanted to know what it was but Kayla walked in cause she didn't notice.

We took our seats on the couch and I sat next to Matt and Kayla sat next to me and Carter.

We played the movie and I put the blanket over me.

Every Time something scary happened I would jump. I looked over at Kayla and Carter and saw that they were cuddling.

I really had the urge to cuddle with Matt but wasn't sure if he'd be okay with it.

I heard Matt yawning and he put his arm around my shoulder. Very cliché I know.

I looked at his arm around my shoulder then at him and then snuggled in closer to him and rested my head on his chest.

"I'm keeping my promise about keeping you safe" he whispered in my ear.

I blushed and looked up at him and smiled.

We stayed like that for the rest of the movie.

Once the movie ended it was 3:30 am. And Carter and Kayla were asleep in each others arms. They looked so cute together.

I looked at Matt and he was asleep too. His mouth was partly open and he was snoring quietly. S'cute.

I started to get up as quietly as I could so I could get changed into pajamas.

That didn't work too well because matt woke up right away.

"Sorry. I'm just gonna get changed really fast." I whispered

"Wait. You're coming back right?" He asked.

I smiled and said yea.

He's so sweet. I really like him. But I don't know if he feels the same way.
