Chapter 2

~AFTER SCHOOL FRIDAY~

Kayla and I have become really close friends and I'm going to her house at 5 to get ready for the party.

It's 3:30 right now so I started packing my stuff. Once I finished I watched some tv and played on my phone until it was time to go.

I headed to Kayla's house and knocked on the door. A blond haired boy opened the door.

"Hi. Is Kayla here?" I asked.

"Yeah. Upstairs first room on the right." He answered.

"Thanks"

I walked upstairs and found kayla's room. I knocked on the door and she opened it.

"Hey girl!" She said.

"Hey! "

"Are you excited for the party?!"

"Yeah!! I can't wait!"

We got ready and did our hair.

I wore a teal dress and Kayla wore an orange dress.

We walked out of her room and down the stairs. I forgot my phone upstairs so I went back to get it.

As I walked towards Kaylas room I bumped into the blond haired boy.

"Oops. Sorry about that" I said.

"No worries. It was my fault" he said smiling at me.

I smiled back and we stared into each others eyes. He had big brown eyes that were really pretty.

"I just came to get my phone" I said breaking the gaze.

He moved out of the way and I got my phone.

"I'm Matt, Kayla's brother."

"I'm Megan. "

"Are you going to the party with Kayla tonight?" He asked.

"Yea. Are you?"

"Yep. I'll see you there then" he said smiling.

"Okay" I said returning a smile.

I walked down stairs and found Kayla on the couch playing on her phone.

"Okay. I got my phone. Now I'm ready" I said.

"Okay. Let's go"

We got into her car and we were off to the party.
