Bobby's POV

It's going to be dark soon and I'm still at this strange place — I mean, the view of the ocean above the hill is fantastic but, I'm still wondering what happened to me and why am I here so suddenly?

I sigh, I give up. I looked at the girl sitting beside me and saw her looking afar with a seriousness in her face. I cleared my throat to catch her attention but she didn't seem to be bothered. What the heck? Is this girl alright? She's been like that earlier and it's kinda annoying.

"Yah... do you know where to stay for the night here?"

Luckily she heard me as she turned her head towards my direction and start answering my questions.

It seems like she's also a tourist here. She showed me the way to the small village down the hill. She said I can stay at an old lady's place where she's staying at as she's very kind and welcomes guess to their hometown.

After a short walk we already reached the small hut she's telling. It isn't a typical hut you would see, the walls are made with a concrete blocks while the roof is made with a pile of coconut leaves. The whole house is surrounded by different plants and were fenced using some kind of woods.

"You're here..." the old lady greeted us as soon as we entered the vicinity of her home. I bowed my head down as a sign of respect.

"Uhm, good evening ma'am." I greeted.

"You can use the room adjacent to hers, there's already a pillow and a comforter in the cabinet. You can use it. I also have spare clothes there, it's old but still useful."

Ohhh... why is it as if she's expecting me to be here? Neh? This is kinda creepy. I looked inside the room where I'll be staying at. It's not cozy, but it's comfortable for me. I remembered my room back in America when I still used to live with my parents. Ahh, my mom! I still haven't talked to her since I've been in Japan! And now I'm here out of nowhere — and I actually don't know where this place is — how am I going to call her?! I remembered a while ago the mysterious girl has a phone! Yes! I went outside to look for her as she's not in her room.

Found her sitting on a bench outside the house.  Night sky here is so beautiful I can look up all night! It's so clear and full of stars! Maybe because this place has no pollution unlike in the city. I looked at her while walking and saw how sad her eyes is while looking at the sky. What makes her feel sad? She looked so cheerful when we're at the top of the hill.

I sat next to her. She looked at me with a question in her eyes.

"Uhm, I'm just wondering if I can borrow your phone? I just need to call my mom. And also my manager."

She looks hesitant, but still she lend me her phone after putting the password.

I immediately dialed my mom's number and put the phone on my ears.

"Tuut.tuut.tuut"

Huh? I checked the number again and redialed it.

"Tuut. Tuut. Tuuut."

What the?

"Why can't I connect to the line?" I asked her.

"There's no signal here, didn't you see?"

Huh? I checked the signal bar on the screen and yeah, there's no signal. Heck! Then why did she lend me this if she know it already!!! I was already fumming in anger when she talked.

"Don't get angry! I didn't mean to toy you! I just thought you would find it out on your own when you were dialing!"

I'm still mad but I just let out a sigh. What's the use of getting angry when it wouldn't bring us signal here? Arrrrrghhhhh eommaaaaaa!!!
