Down the stairs, headed to my room...I felt my heart skip a beat, as if it was about to ditch my body. She's right, I've never conversed to her like that my entire life. "oh kiscendra, what is going on with you?" Had I lost my meaning to life? Or was I just facing I bump in the road? Maybe introduction to foreign males changes a person's perspective. However, there was something my parents owed me and that is the truth.

All these thoughts came to a halt when I found myself in my dad's office. Flip, I was going to my room...how exactly did I end up here. My dad never allows anyone in here even his on wife. To my luck, I opened the door and it wasn't locked like it usually is. "What could my father be hiding?", I entered.

I started going through his desk...hoping to find anything that would lead me to who I was. And that's when my eyes caught the sight of a glowing ball, which looked more of a globe. It was blue, intriguing and very heavy. My hands against it resulted in a drawing force. It made my feet shortly left the surface and my arms turned pale, almost transparent.

"Where is kiscendra? Kiscendra?? I got something for you sweetheart!" That was my father's voice coming from the hall way and that's when I instantly dropped the globe and my legs dropped to the ground with it. "Strange..what was this thing? And why wouldn't my father let any of us see it. Unless..." I quickly vacated the room, went to the kitchen and poured juice.

"There you are! What are you doing?"

_"juice, I was pouring a glass of juice that's all, want some"?

He looked straight into my eyes and I instinctively felt he sensed that I was lying. I've never lied to him before. I sipped the juice , "hmm, coco-pine...your favorite. What is it that you said you have for me? I hope its a new book."

I managed to dismiss him. "yes, you know me too well, its a book I think you'll love. ' The truth behind all wars." He has always brought me books and I loved them. "If only this book was 'The try behind who Kiscendra is.' " I thought to myself and still smiled regardless.

" Thank you father."

What was that globe? Why does it have that kind of power? Why is my father so protective of it? So many questions needed answers.
