Chapter 10

"Please!" I begged Luca and he sighed and rubbed his hand down his face.

For the past few days I have been begging Luca to let me contact Ashley or Eric.

I have missed my bestfriends and I know they're going crazy not knowing where I'm at but Luca tells me the same thing every time.

"Baby, I already told you..." he started but I finished already knowing what he was going to say.

"I dont trust every and anyone. Yeah you've told me before." I said and he chuckled while going back to his paper work. 

We were currently in his home office. His parents left two days ago to spend some alone time together at their home in Spain.

I'm pretty lonely considering when Luca leaves I have no one to talk to except Coco but all he does is sleep. So at the moment I am seated in Luca's office infront of him watching him work while Coco is curled up into my lap and asleep.

"If you already know what I'm going to saw then why ask?"he questioned amused by my "antics" as he calls it.

"Because I miss my bestfriends. Its soon to be a month that I have not seen them. I'm not asking to go home but they are my family and I want to at least talk to them." I told him and he looked at me with a somewhat sadden expression.

"I am your family too, bella."he responded quietly. I stood up and placed Coco in the seat I had currently occupied.

I walked behind his desk and sat on his lap. I kissed him gently on the lips and he wrapped his arms around me.

"Yeah you are and I love you but I need to talk to them, Luca. At least give me that."I pleaded and he nodded his head.

He exited out if his work and pulled up a new tab. I logged onto my Facebook account that I haven't used in about two years. I looked for Ashley's profile and retrieved her number praying she didn't change it recently.

I grabbed Luca's office phone and dialed the number.

It rang and rang...and rang and rang and when I finally decided to hang up someone answered.

"Hello?" The manly voice spoke. It didn't belong to Eric. I Looked at the computer screen to see if I typed in the right number. Sure enough I did.

"Umm, is Ashley there?" I questioned and there was a bit of shuffling in the back ground. There was whispering until a female voice spoke.

"Hello?" She asked and I knew it was Ashley and I was so glad to hear her.

"Ash?"

"Laur?"

"WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL SOONER? DO YOU KNOW HOW WORRIED ERIC AND I HAVE BEEN. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU,WOMAN? LAUREN WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN THINKING? I -" At first she started to cry then she blew up on me. I had to take the phone away from my ear and settled for putting it on speaker.

I sighed and leaned against Luca's chest. He pushed back my unruly curls and kissed my below my ear.

After a while there was silence on the line.

"Are you finished, Ashley?" I asked her politely.

"HELL.NO I'M JUST GETTING STARTED." After she finished saying what she had to say she calmed down.

"Lauren, Where are you? Are you even coming back, what about the bakery I can't handle all of this stress anymore." She said and I instantly felt bad. I didn't even think about how she would feel taking care of all of my work and worrying about me.
