Luna walked to her lunch table and placed her tray of food down before sliding in her seat, she picked up her fork and was about to take a bite out of her food when she noticed Avery staring at her with narrowed eyes

Luna shrugged it off and swallowed her food before opening her mouth "What?" She asked, Avery continued to stare but eventually stopped and shoved her burger into her mouth

"Something's different" Avery states, Luna looked at her confused

"What do you mean?" Luna questioned, Nathan Luna's older brother and their mutual friend Jackson sat down beside them, the lunchroom getting louder as students piled in

"Hey how was your math test?" Luna asked both of them, taking the tap off her bottle and took a sip, At the mention of the test they just did Jackson's shoulders slumped and he groaned in frustration, Luna and Avery furrowed their brows and looked to Nathan who only sighed and shook his head indicating that it didn't go well

"It was horrible! I didn't understand anything and my mind was blank the whole time I just started guessing" Jackson grumbled out and stabbed his fork angrily into the pasta he brought from home, Avery who sat beside him rubbed his back soothingly and looked at him with a frown

"Uh okay. What about you?" Luna asked her brother

"It was good, I'm sure I passed"Nathan told her with a satisfied hum, Jackson lifted his head from the table and looked at Nathan in disbelief

"What? The only reason you failed is because you always dozed off in class otherwise you would have aced this class. Only person to blame is you" Nathan said with a pointed look, Jackson scoffed but held a regretful expression after he heard what Nathan told him

"So what are you guys doing after school?"Avery asked, she hummed in delight at the taste of the strawberry yogurt

"I might go to the party at Melissa's house but I'm still undecided"Luna said and Avery leaned forward in her seat at the news with interested eyes

"Oohhh can I go with you?! I've heard many stories about her family and I want to see if it's true"

"If i decide to go then yeah" Luna agreed, she glanced at Nathan who was texting on his phone with a soft smile, she raised a brow and turned to him

"What about you? What are you doing after school"Luna asked him, Nathan looked up from his phone and smiled sheepishly

"Sorry, What were we talking about?"he asked them to repeat and Jackson chuckled with a raised brow

"Who's got you all loved up?" He teased him, the trio watched as Nathan's cheeks were slightly tinted in pink and shared a look

"I met this girl a week ago and she's one of the most amazing people I've ever met, you'll like her." He directed the last part to Luna who smiled warmly at him

"Whats her name?" Jackson crossed his arms on the table and leaned forward in interest

"Her names Leah" he told them with a lovestuck expression

"Luna" Rosalie's silky voice greeted her

Luna grinned at her and patted the empty seat beside her

"Hey how are you?!" She spoke excitedly, Rosalie chucked and said she was doing fine

"I was thinking since we are partners in Spanish and we're doing a project, you should come over and we can do it there" Rosalie asked her mate and Luna looked to Nathan for permission, he eyed Rosalie but reluctantly nodded, Luna's face lit up

"Yeah sure. Where do you live?" Rosalie chucked and told her she would pick her up after school before hugging her goodbye and left

It's really short and not well written so I'm sorry for that but i haven't updated any of my stories in a while so hope you enjoyed it, hopefully I update more tomorrow
