Avery scowled, seeing Luna walking in the lunchroom with her friends knowing they only talk to Luna because you were considered popular if you were friends with any male or female that was attractive

Luna picked up her pace and grinned at her best friend "what're they doing here?"Avery glared at the two girls who clung to Luna's side, they only glared back before letting Luna know they'd see her later

Luna frowned at Avery who gave her an innocent smile "why do you have to be so mean to them" she sighed, placing her bag on the table before taking a seat

Avery shrugged, dipping her fry into her ice cream before taking a bite

"I have no regrets" she smirked at Luna's irritated face

"So I was thinking..."Luna started, once she was sure Avery was listening she continued "Jackson has been pining after you for the longest time, don't you think that maybe..i don't know...you could give him a chance"Avery only rose a brow

"I don't know Luna, he's not really my type" it was true, Avery preferred 'bad boys' which typically means they have slicked back black hair, at least owns one leather jacket, with tattoos and they usually have some form of muscles, and Jackson well he wasn't exactly the 'bad boy' but he was close in a way

He was really smart, really organized and well mannered, he had a charm that usually made people want him, yet Avery wasn't one of those, usually his style was matching clothing, he had chestnut curly hair, and only had one tattoo though it wasn't big and not even really noticeable, it was on his wrist, but in small letters, it was the date of his mother's death

"maybe that's a good thing"Luna butted in, Avery hid a smile, She couldn't deny that Jackson was far from ugly and incredibly sweet but he was nothing like the guys she's dated and It was almost unfamiliar territory for her

"If you stop talking to me about it, Then maybe I'll consider it" she laughed when Luna squealed and hugged her tightly

A cough interrupted their hug making them turn to the source, Rosalie stood there, her face was blank but her eyes said something else as they flared angrily at the best friends hugging figures

Luna upon noticing the arrival, detached herself from Avery and smiled happily at her new friend

"Rosalie! Hey" Luna greeted happily, Rosalie smiled back at her

"Hello"she paused before looking behind her, where Luna and Avery could see a group of people near the entrance of the lunchroom, 2 females and 3 males, Luna noticed one of the Guys to be Emmett but she didn't recognize the others

"We were wondering since it's our first day and you are the only person we know, if we could sit with you" Rosalie asked, Luna only nodded and scooted closer to Avery so there would be room for at least 2 people next to her and the rest could sit in front of them

Rosalie smiles in thanks before waving over her family, though she quickly stopped and glared at the people who openly checked out not only her but her family as well

The first to get to the table was Alice, she had the brightest smile on her face as she looked Luna over, her black short hair suited her at least that's what Luna thought as she practically swooned over the short female

"Hi!"Alice smiled, Luna smiled back just as bright "I'm Alice and this is my boyfriend jasper" Luna's eyes moved towards the approaching figure of a lean yet muscular guy with dirty blonde hair, he was tense that was obvious and Luna couldn't help but wonder why, was she making him uncomfortable?

"Hello" his voice was deep and it sent shivers down Luna's back, in a good way, he sent her a small smile before sitting next to Alice

Rosalie and Emmett had already taken the spots next to her, leading the rest of their family into having to sit in front of them

"I'm Bella and this is my boyfriend Edward" a brown haired girl spoke up, she was almost awkward in the way she spoke and held herself, yet there was still something that Luna couldn't quité make out but it made her just as beautiful as her family

Edward had nodded in greeting towards Avery and sent a small smile towards his newfound mate, Luna was surrounded by beautiful people and she was trying not to make a fool out of herself

Avery gaped at the new people as she shifted closer to Luna and whispered in a 'subtle' way, not taking her eyes off the cullens who watched her every move with cautious eyes

"What're they doing here?" She whispered, narrowing her eyes at them and grasped Luna's arm who chuckled and gently pried Avery's hand off her arm

"This is Avery my best friend" she introduced them but it was almost as if Avery and Emmett were sizing each other up as they stared at each other with narrowed eyes, not that Luna noticed as she quickly interacted with the other Cullen's who had small smiles on their faces as they watched Luna talk about this dog she saw on the way to school

They were really glad they met her

Sorry for updating really late but anyways I just wanted to let you guys know, I have the other chapters of this book in my old account kiing_jen  so I'm going to rewrite some of the chapters that are there and then continue on from there, it might take me a while though because I also have other fanfics that I'm going to rewrite, like my mikealson  fanfic and upcoming books that I'm currently working on
