I've asked for a person's number exactly
27 + 8 + however many college counselors
I missed a number
I didn't have it
Well, I had it - but I didn't use it
For at least three years
But two years ago
That number belonged to a dead girl
I think she's dead
I don't even know, because
There's no pictures
And I didn't know her full name
But there's not many [her name here] around
In a small town like this
So doesn't that mean
That someone I looked up to
And liked quite a lot
And thought would change the world
Died without me even knowing?
