A blank slate

     Harry P.O.V.

I was sitting in Ron's room when Hermione came up. " Somethings come from Hogwarts. You better come," she said to me. I sighed. "Coming," I said as I got out of bed.

I walked into the kitchen and found 3 envelopes addressed to me, Ron and Hermione. Ron and Hermione had opened and were reading their letters. I walked up to the kitchen table and studied the letter. It was yellowing parchment sealed with the Hogwarts seal.

I snatched the envelope from the table and tore it open. I read the neat handwriting in emerald green ink.

Dear Mr. H. Potter,
Due to the unfortunate events of last year, we invite you to come back to Hogwarts to redo your seventh year. Consider it a blank slate. Your book list and materials are on the back of this page.

               Yours sincerely,
Minerva Mcgonogal (I don't know how to spell it, so expect a few different ideas for her name)

I couldn't believe it. I got to redo my seventh year at Hogwarts! Last year we didn't learn that much because Lord Voldemort, the evil being that killed my parents, had marched with his death eaters on Hogwarts. We barely defeated them and got rid of Voldemort for good.

"Another year at Hogwarts, isn't this brilliant Harry?" Hermione asked, as she pulled out the letter that held the school supplies. I grinned at her. "Best news of the summer," I replied. She smiled and read her letter. Her face fell. "This is really expensive. How will we afford it all?" I looked at the list. This stuff was expensive. And the Weasleys didn't have much money. I looked them. "You can use my volt. I have more than enough money for us." Ron looked up from his letter, a twinkle in his eyes. "Really? You would do that?" He asked

The reaction from this simple sentence was priceless. Mrs.Weasley gasped and fell over. Fred (dead people will live so expect Sirius to live) glared at Ron. Gorge poked his head out of his room and followed his brothers example. His hair smoking  and smoke came from his room door. Mr.Weasley stoped working and turned to his youngest son. Hermione facepalmed. Ron flushed. I just looked at him and smiled. "Of course I would Ron," I said. Mrs. Weasley got up.

"Well then. We should get going. Those school supplies won't bye themselves," she said.

With that, we floo powdered to Digoan Ally. (Same thing, don't know how to spell it)

Well, what do you think? I myself am very proud of myself. Adios my wolfs!
