You and Jimin have continued your routine like normal for the past 2 months. You've been meeting up by the university's main entrance gates after school to walk to your apartment. Some days you ended up simply jogging, and others you went to the gym. Nonetheless, it's been going great and progress is being made.

You were both walking together to your apartment, intending to continue the said routine when an idea popped up in your head. "What if we just watched a movie at my place today? We can make it like a cheat day."

You didn't quite know why you suggested the idea. A part of you wanted Jimin to stay committed to this, but another part of you just wanted to spend time with Jimin as his friend, not just his workout buddy.

"I don't mind." Jimin accepts nonchalantly.

"We can still do cardio super quickly right now though," You smirk knowingly as Jimin curiously stares, "race you to my place!" you yelled before you took off and ran ahead.

"Hey what the hell that's not fair!" Jimin yelled out and you heard his running footsteps shortly behind you. Next thing you knew he was running next to you, which frankly took you by surprise considering how he only recently began working out. Giggles mixed with pants of tiredness made their way out of your mouths as you ran off, the moon slightly making its appearance as the sun set.

"Really? Ranch and carrots?" Jimin sits down on the couch and sees you bringing a tray containing the said snacks.

"What? Just because it's a cheat day doesn't mean we eat garbage." You snap back.

You place the tray down on the coffee table and sit beside Jimin on the couch, attempting to pick a movie from the countless options on Netflix. You ended up settling for a comedy one as you wanted something not necessarily awkward.

15 minutes into the movie you and Jimin were laughing like maniacs; you choked on your carrots at least five times.

"You have a cute laugh. It's like your eyes completely disappear." You say as your own guffaws begin to die down. You didn't fail to notice Jimin's reddened cheeks, who abruptly pops a carrot into his mouth and begins to choke. Your cackle comes back to life as you pat Jimin's back.

"Shut the hell up what if he hears?! I've never had a guy friend let alone a boyfriend. I've got no chance dumbass!"

"She's my spirit animal." You chuckle slightly as you chew on a carrot, referring to the girl in the movie. Jimin's eyes widen and he shockingly turns his head in your direction.

"...What?" You question in a muffled voice as your mouth was stuffed with baby carrots like a bunny.

"You've never had a boyfriend?" He exclaims.

"Nope. Sad right?" You chuckle sarcastically, swallowing what's left of the carrots in your mouth, "Now that I think about it I haven't had that many guy friends either."

You pause to take a sip of water, "I guess I'm still trying to be confident with how I look ever since...that happened."

"...Then that's their loss, you're beautiful."

Both of your eyes were the widest they can be, Jimin seemingly shook by his slip up and you not being able to decipher why your heart skipped a beat.

"T-Thanks." You shyly stutter.

God was on your side as He saved you from anymore awkwardness when a funny scene in the movie interrupted the ear-piercing silence. The two of you soon returned to laughing like idiots as you proceeded to watch.

It was at this moment that you were shoving a pillow in your face while laying in your bed. Why were you squealing and getting the flutters like a stupid teenage girl?

"Snap out of it Y/n," You slightly slapped yourself, "Jimin is your friend."

Your mindset at the moment was that you were simply helping him get through his eating disorder because you cared about him as your friend. Nothing more, nothing less.

But then why were you getting slightly flustered whenever around him recently?

"Sleeping early my ass..."
