Tony's POV

Bruce And I Arrived At The Bat Cave And Were Met With Joker's Henchmen. I Fired My Repulsers Straight Through Their Chests Without A Second Thought. I Was Merciless, Not Caring About Who Or How Many I Kill. I Just Wanted To See (Y/N).

After Killing The Henchmen, We Walked Inside. Bruce Signaled For Me To Be Silent As There Were Sensors That Would Alert The Joker Of Our Presence. We Were Walking Across The Hallway When I Noticed A Trail Of Blood.

"Bruce!" I Whisper-Shouted To Him As I Point To The Trail Of Dark Red Liquid Which I Presumed Was Blood.

He Came Over To My Side And Inspected The Liquid. 

"It's Blood." He Confirmed.  "Do You Think It's-" He Continued.

"No. No Way. It Can't Be (Y/N)'s Blood." I Said Quickly. Atleast, I Hope It Wasn't.

We Made Our Way Down The Hall And Stopped In Front Of A Door With The Help Of The Blood Trail.

Bruce Turned The Knob And Went Inside First To Make Sure It Wasn't A Trap. He Hastily Closed The Door Right After He Went In. He Came Out A Few Seconds Later With Sadness Written All Over His Face.

"Tony, You Shouldn't Go In There..." He Said.

"What, Why?" I Asked And Went To Open The Door. Bruce Stepped In Between Me And The Door.

"Bruce, What're You Doing? What's Inside?" I Said And Pushed Him Away As I Stepped Into The Room.

I Was Met With The Worst Sight I've Ever Witnessed In My Entire Life.

A Body. A Body Was Hanging Lifelessly From The Ceiling Suspended By A Carelessly Tied Noose. The Body Was Facing The Other Direction And Had Cuts That Were Bleeding Everywhere But I Could Still Tell It Was My Girlfriend From The (Y/H/C) Coloured Hair.

"N-No. I-It Can't B-Be..." I Said As I Fell To The Ground And Started Sobbing. "NO! (Y/N) YOU CAN'T BE DEAD! PLEASE! Please... Don't..." I Said As My Voice Gradually Became Softer.

"I'm Sorry, Tony. We Weren't Here In Time... We... We Failed Her..." Bruce Said As His Eyes Soon Followed Tony's And We're Filled With Tears At The Lost Of His Closest Friend.

Third Person's POV

Bruce Walked To The Other Side Of The Body To Get It Out Of The Noose And Let The Police Handle The Body.

"TONY!" Bruce Shouted, Wide Eyed.

"What?" Tony Said As He Finally Managed To Stop Crying And Pulled Himself Together.

"Come Here." Bruce Said.

Tony Stood Up And Slowly Walked To Where Bruce Was Standing While Sniffling All The Way. He Looked Up From The Ground To Face The Body.

"OHMYGODWHATTHEFUCK?!?" Tony Exclaims As He Realises The Body, Isn't (Y/N)'s.

"If It Isn't (Y/N)'s Body, Then Whose Is It? And Where Is She?" Bruce Asked.

"I Don't Kno-" Tony Started But Was Cut Off By The Sound Of A Familiar Evil Laugh.

"Joker," Bruce Muttered.

"Hey, There Batsy! Oh, Iron Dude! You're Here Too! Hello There! " Joker Said From One Of The Computer Screens In The Room.

"Give Me My Girlfriend Back!" Tony Demanded.

"Oh, You Mean My Kitten? Now, Why Would I Do That When We're Having So Much Fun Here?" The Joker Replied And The Screen Cut To An Unconscious (Y/N) Lying On A Chair Bleeding From The Multiple Deep And Big Newly Made Cuts She Had.

"What Do You Want?" Tony Said Through Clenched Teeth.

"I Just Wanna Meet The Almighty One And Only Tony Stark Of Manhattan That Everyone Speaks So Highly About!" Joker Replied With A Happy Tone.

"Where?" Tony Asked. Not Wanting To Continue The Conversation With the Dark Clown Prince Of Gotham.

The Joker Told Him The Address.

"Oh, And One More Thing, Make Sure To Come Alone, Or This Happens." Joker Said And Made A Finger Gun At (Y/N).
