"Tony Are You Ready Yet?" You Shout From The Living Room.

Tonight Was The Night. The Night Tony Was Finally Going To Meet Your Parents. Your Father Was A Wealthy And Well-Respected Business Man In (Y/H/T) And He Had High Expectations Of Whoever You Dated Since You Were An Only Child.

Tony Came Out Of You Guys' Room In A Sleek Black Suit And You Guys  Drove Over To Your Parents Place. The Drive Was Around An Hour Or So.

You Guys Arrived At Your Parents House. You Were Going To Ring The Doorbell When Tony Took Your Hand In His And Turned You To Face Him.

"What's Wrong, Tony?" You Asked As You Could Hear His Breathing Quicken.

" What If They Don't Like Me. What If They Hate Me?" He Said As He Started To Panic.

"Babe, Honey, They Are Going To Love You. And If They Don't, I'll Still Be With You. No Matter What They Say." You Gave His Hand A Squeeze And Felt That His Breathing Was Back To Normal.

"You Okay?" You Asked Once More, Just To Make Sure He Wasn't Having A Panic Attack.

"Yeah, I'm Fine. Thanks (Y/N)." He Said And Rang The Doorbell.

You Heard Footsteps Coming Down The Stairs And The Door Swung Open.

"(Y/N)!" Your Mother Said As She Hugged You. Your Father Came Up At Your Mother's Side And Stuck His Hand Out To Tony. Tony Shook His Hand And Said. "The Name's Tony Stark, Mr. (Y/L/N)."

Everyone Went Inside And Sat At The Dinner Table.

"So, Tony, What Do You Do For A Living?" Your Father Asked.

Tony Was A Little Taken Aback By The Fact That Your Parents Didn't Know Who He Was But He Quickly Recovered.

"Well, I Own A Company You May Have Heard Of, Stark Industries. We Used To Build Weapons And Technology, But We Instead Switched To Finding Ways To Create Clean Energy After Some......Personal Incidents." He Said And Downed The Rest Of His Drink.

He Was Thinking About Afghanistan, About What Happened In The Cave And You Knew It.

You Took His Hand Under The Table And Leaned Towards Him Before Whispering Into His Ear "It's Okay, Tony. Everything's Fine. We're At My Parents House In (Y/H/T) And We're Having Dinner." His Breathing Was Normal Again And You Continued On With Dinner.

You Two Walked Into The Garden At The Back Of The House.

" So..What Do You Think Of Tony, Dad?" You Asked, 100% Sure That Your Dad Liked Him.

You Were 100% Wrong.

"You Mean The Egotistical Prick?" Your Dad Rolled His Eyes.

"Dad! Are You Kidding? Tell Me, What Do You Not Like About Him?" You Asked.

"What's To Like? I Mean, The Man Builds Weapons For Terrorist To Start It All Off. He Also Puts Other People's Lives On The Line On A Day-To-Day Basis By Being That Iron Man Thing."

"First Of All, He Hasn't Built Weapons For Anybody Besides His Suit In Years. Second Of All, He Saves Lives As Iron Man." You Said And Walked Away.

"(Y/N)!" Your Father Called Out. You Turned Around.

"That Man Is Nothing But A Bad Influence On You. First, You Were Shot And Beaten Half To Death Because You Were Associated With Him And Now He Has You Turned Against Me."

"What Happened To Me Is Not His Fault. And The Only Reason I'm 'Against' You, Is Because You're Being Ridiculously Unreasonable About Your Judgement On My Boyfriend Right Now." You Said And Walked Back Into Your House.

You Saw Tony Talking To Your Mother. You Said Goodbye To Her And Grabbed Tony's Hand, Pulling Him Towards The Car.

" Woah, Woah, Baby Girl. What's Wrong? " He Said As He Noticed Your Red Eyes And The Tears Forming.

He Cupped Your Face. "Tell Me What's Wrong, (Y/N)."

A Tear Fell To The Ground As You Finally Spoke Up. "M-My Dad Doesn't Like You. He Hates You, Actually."

The Colour Of His Face Drained And His Mouth Fell Wide Open. He Regained His Focus After A Few Seconds And Hugged You.

"What Did You Say Before We Went Inside?" He Whispered Into Your Ear.

"That No Matter What They Say I'm Still Going To Be With You And That I'll Still Love You?" You Said Softly, Barely Being Able To Hear Yourself Speak.

"That's Right, Baby. And No Matter What He Said About Me Just Now, I'll Still Love You. Now And Forever."

He Pulled Away And Opened The Car Door For You To Get In. The Both Of You Went Home And Cuddled For The Rest Of The Night.
