"Izzy, can you please take the turkey out of the oven instead of just standing there?" Duff scoffed at his friend, with a smirk.

Izzy complies, pulling on the oven mitts.

"It's hot as balls in this tiny ass kitchen." Axl complained as he prepared the Mac and cheese.

"Well, that's the holidays for ya." Duff said as he peeled potatoes.

It'd been a year since the men had officially put the band together. Shiloh's birthday was just next month on Christmas Day.

Slash already spoiled her, much to Axl's disliking, but he couldn't stop him.

"Hey, mama!!" Slash burst as soon as he entered the apartment and saw his daughter in the play pen.

He threw his jacket and closed the door.

Shiloh squealed at the sight of her daddy and Slash couldn't be happier to see his little girl.

He picked her up, balancing her on his hip and kissing her cheek. He carried her into the kitchen where the others were and smiled.

"Hey, Duffy." The man stood on his tip toes and he and Duff shared a quick kiss, to which Axl rolled his eyes.

"Uh, Ax, my mom wanted us to come over to hers tomorrow for Thanksgiving.... if you're fine with that..?"

Axl nodded, putting on a small fake smile.

"What better way to spend the holidays than with family, right?"

Slash smiled. "Thanks, Ax. You're the best." He said, leaving the kitchen again.

"I hate that you do that, yknow? It's almost been a year and you're still holding grudges." Duff said once Slash was out of earshot reach.

"I know." Axl scoffed, placing a tin lid over the large matching tin tray that held a boatload of mac and cheese.

"So why do you do it?" Izzy asked, setting the turkey on the counter.
