I guess curiosity killed the cat.

I watched as Yumemi walked out the classroom with that guy. 10 minutes passed and she still wasn't back. Not that I cared or anything. The image of the fear in her eyes kept playing in my head to the point where I couldn't even concentrate.

"Okay so class when you add these exponents you get the answer okay" said my math teacher Bardwin.

I tried to pay attention to what he was saying but her face kept appearing in my head.

"DAMN IT!! I slammed my fist and got up.

"Is something wrong Kazuma?"

"May I use the restroom?"

"Go ahead but next time just go".

I walked out the class and went to look for Ms.Annoying. I couldn't find her, I went outside and that's when I heard her voice. She sounded like she was arguing with the guy.

"I AM NOT YOUR PRINCESS!!!! NOR AM I YOUR WIFE!!!!"

"Huh? What's she talking about? ".

I followed the sound of her voice and that's when I saw the guy on the floor and then I saw him get up and punch her in her stomach and grab her by the hair and slam her on the ground.

"YOU LITTLE BITCH!!!!"

"HEY!!! what the hell are you doing !!!!". I yelled running towards them.

The guy ran off and I went to where Yumemi was and helped her up.

"Hey are you okay?"

She slapped my hand away from her and moved away from me.

"What the heck do you want?" She asked with an attitude.

That pissed me off.

"I just saved you from your boyfriend and this is what I get".

She got up and then tumbled a little holding her stomach. I tried to help her again.

"Don't... Touch me!"

"What the hell is wrong with this girl?" I thought.

"Listen I just saved you from your boyfriend hurting you more the least you can do is say thank you".

She got up and began walking away from me. I grabbed her by the arm gently and turned her around.

"What?" She said with a broken voice.

She had tears in her eyes.

"Say thank you".

She looked away from me and whispered.

"Thanks".

I let her go. Shocked by the tears. She walked back into the building and i followed after her.

3 weeks passed since then and Yumemi didn't come to school.

"Hmm I wonder what happened to Yume" Anami said.

"It's been 3 weeks and as Student Council it's our job to go to the students house to see what's going on" Sandra said.

"Well I can't go I have the debate team meeting today" Fernando said.

"I have to work after school" Sandra said.

We all looked at Anami.

"Well I can't go I have a doctor appointment with Takume".

"So who does that leave then..."

We all thought about it then everyone stared at me.

"Oh hell no.. Not gonna happen I have plans".

"I don't think sticking your tongue down a girls throat is plans" Anami said.

"You gotta do it your the Student Council President, rules are rules".

"Shut up Nando".

Everyone got up to leave and Fernando gave me a pat on my shoulder.

"R u seriously kidding me!!! She lives here?!"

I looked up at the humongous mansion and the huge double doors with the flower lily dragon locks.

"Where's the doorbell?" I thought.

I looked around and there was none. I held onto the folder in my hand and knocked.

"Why the hell am I doing this". I sighed.

A man in white with almond hair color and grey eyes answered the door and looked at me.

"May I help you?"

"Yes is Yumemi here?"

"Why do you need her?"

"She hasn't been in school, so I came to drop off her work.. Is she around?"

"I'm sorry..."

Then there was a loud shatter in the house and then there was yelling.

"Was that glass?" I thought.

"I'm sorry sir she's not home, I'll take the file and give her the work".

The butler took the file and closed the door quickly. As I was walking away I heard a gate close. I looked behind me and saw Yumemi going into a garden house.

"So she is home".

I jumped over the fence and followed her. She was laying in a hammock and looking up the ceiling.

"STUPID FATHER!!! I hate him!!

"So that was you that made all that commotion".

She jumped and looked at me, her eyes looking dead.

"What do u want? How did u get here?"

"Again with the attitude" I thought.

"I came cause I had no choice I had to drop off your work and why haven't you been going to school?"
