The breath of life that morning gives is always the most refreshing, the crisp blankets crinkling underneath me. My room is an escape from any other life form, a place where I can be left alone. But I wasn't alone a cold breath choked by tears chilled my right shoulder. I got up instantly it was my mother I looked around. This wasn't my room it was completely white there was fluid pouring into my right hand I was intwind in hundreds of cords a heart monitor was to my left. I saw a big red Botton and as I reached for it I realised I had a long gash that had been stitched up it travelled from my forearm right to my thumb. My mother looked up and noticed I was awake she hugged me so tight it was as if I had been gone for years. She screamed so loudly and then faded into a sob. A tall handsome man with striking blue eyes entered the room he was armed with a gun and was wearing an army uniform. "Timothy !! Timothy she's awake ! She's awake" mum began to cry again. The tall boy walked over to me tears welling up I his eyes and hugged me he had firm arms and a strong grip. "I'm sorry to be rood but before we get all family reunion who is he and why am I in hospital and why is everyone acting like I've been gone for five years?"

Mum looked at me with concerned eyes and managed to find the words to speak "you were"

No that's not wright I remember falling asleep yesterday the sun was shining and the sky was blue except the sun shouldn't have been out during the night so why can't I remember what happened.

Mum put her shoulders on mine " this is your brother he was ten when you-" her eyes filled with tears and her throat was swollen from crying. "When you where taken" she collapsed into Timothy's arms. The boy began to speak "we found you 10 hours later in a ditch they took you to the hospital and you have been in a coma ever since" he spoke with a deep stern voice, he kinda scared me. " so who took me and for what reason?" He scratched his head and looked at the floor. His hair looked a mess upon his perfectly structured cheek bones and whispy lips " do you remember the ghost stories you used to tell me you know about the licking dog"

"well yeah but that can't possibly be the reason that was just a joke a harmless story"

"Not anymore as soon as you tell a single ghost story it generate 100 of the scary characters and we don't know why they come from nowhere and everywhere, so ghost stories are internationally banned."

I sat there with my mouth open stunned by what he'd just told me. This can't possibly be happening

"I have to go, I have to help"

"No you must rest" he pushed me back down

"TIMOTHY THERE ARE PEOPLE DYING"
