(Julia's POV)

I walked past the living room and see my parents and twin brother in there.

Julia dear we need to talk to you. My mom says as I walk by.

Yes mom?

Darling your father and I need to tell you something important.

What is it mom? Michael asks.

We're moving to Odessa, Texas.

WHAT?! Why on earth would you move from Salem, Oregon to Odessa, Texas? I exclaim.

Because there is a job opportunity for your father and I.

Can I stay with Sarah's family then mom?

I'm sorry dear but you can't.

But mommy. Grr. Why do I have to go?

Because it's a family move and like I said there is a job opportunity for your father and I.

Don't you mean the pack is better because from what I've heard its one of the biggest and most powerful in the world.

Darling why on earth do you think that is the reason that we would move?

Because it's something you would do. Michael what do you have to say about this? I ask my twin.

I'm good as long as there is a football team.

You will make friends in Texas.

No buts, we are leaving in a week. My mom says cutting me off.

I ran out of the living room crying and ran up stairs to my room.

(Michael's POV)

Mom what's the real reason behind us moving?

Son there is something we have been keeping from you and your sister for a long time. Dad said.

What is it dad?

Well since you and your sister were 5 there has been a rouge after your sister.

WHAT?! Why did you never tell me?

Son it's because the alpha told us not to tell you until you were 16. Well we didn't tell you and didn't plan on telling you for a while but recently that rouge came to town. Your father saw him from a distance on the edge of town. He told the alpha. And the alpha called the Odessa alpha and told him about the rouge and that he was having his wolves take care of the rouge. Then the alpha asked if it was okay for us to move there until the problem was solved.

Why is the rouge after Julia?

He is after your sister because she is special. Mom said.

How is she special?

She has special powers that are incredibly rare. There are only a few packs in the world which have wolves this powerful.

Let me guess the Odessa pack is one of them.

Yes it is dear. The Odessa pack alpha promised to protect Julia until the threat is eliminated.

Does Julia know about her power?

No she doesn't and we need to keep it that way.

(Julia's POV)

As soon as I got to my room I called my best friend Sarah. She picks up on the second ring.

Yes Julia.

Sarah my family's moving.

WHAT?! When did you find out?

Just now I called you as soon as I got to my room.

That just sucks. Do you know why?

No but I'm pretty sure it's because the pack is huge.

Ugh, that's a dumb reason to move.

Yes it is.

Ugh why wont your parents let you live with me?

I don't know but right now I'm mad at them.

I don't blame you 'cause I would be too. Hey at least there will be cute boys.

Sure thing girl. My life would suck if you weren't in it. I mean your life is so exciting compared to mine. Well I got to go. You should come over tomorrow.
