Chapter One

  A week and a half later (Wednesday May 31th 2013)

                Julia! I heard mom call from downstairs.

                What mom? I yelled.

                Hurry up and get up or you will be late for your first day of school!

                Okay mom. 

Today was my first day at my new school. Ugh! Why did my parents have to move?

                Julia!

                I'm coming mom! I hurried down the stairs.

                There is food waiting in the kitchen.

                Thanks mom. I ran in the kitchen and grabbed the Costco muffin mom had left on the counter and rushed out the door. I went to my red mini cooper when I heard my phone going off, it was Sarah. Why hello Sarah.

                Well howdy Miss. Julia, how goes liv'n in Odessa, Texas (you got to read it in a southern accent for it to work)?  

               Its fine, not a good as Oregon but I can’t do anything about it.

                Yeah I still don't know why your parents had you move all the way to Texas.

                Me either.

                So have you met any cute boys yet?

                No I haven't been to school yet, today is my first day and I should probably let you go so I can drive.

                What you can’t drive and talk at the same time?! I thought it was just Oregon with the messed up law.

                Well I don't actually know so I'm gonna play it safe.

                Ok, bye Julia!

                Bye Sarah I miss you!

 I got in my cooper and drove to school. When I got there I got a phone call from Michael.

                You brat where did you go! You were supposed to drive me to school!

                You can all ways asked mom or dad for a ride.

                No way! Mom say get you butt back here or you are getting your car privileges taken away.

                Grr. Fine but you better be out side when I get there and if your not you will regret it. I drove back to the house and he's standing in the front yard waiting. Hurry up and get in! He got in and I drove to back to school.  

                You have to pick me up from foot ball practice too.

                Excuse me Michael what did you say?

                You heard me.

                No I think I misheard you because it sounded like you said I have to pick you up.

                Fine Julia will you please pick me up from practice?

                Yes I will since you asked so nicely I said as we walked into the building. 

We entered the main hallway to see a huge crowd of people. The smells of all the people were over whelming. Wolves and humans alike. 

                Julia, do we have to walk through that? Michael asked me.

                Yes we do and we better hurry so we aren't late to class.

                Just stay by me Julia. He said and I grabbed his arm.

                Sure thing baby brother.  And with that we plunged into the crowd. Somehow Michael and I got separated in the crowd so I just continued toward the office to get my schedule. Then I bumped into someone. I looked up and saw this really handsome guy.

                Why hello darlin' and who might you be? He asked me.

                Uh…Uh…

                 She is none of your business mutt. Michael said to the guy, coming up behind me. 

                I'd be careful on what you say because you don’t know who you are talking to. The guy said.

                I don’t care who you are just stay way from my sister.

                 Michael! I exclaimed.

                What Julia?

                Just shut up.

                So beautiful your name is Julia? The guy asked.

                Yes it is. I said blushing. And this big buffoon is my twin brother.

                Julia, come on. Michael said. We have to go get our schedules. He said as he pulled me into the crowed.
