I'M SOOOO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING!! I've been really caught up with my school work and everything else so please forgive me! I will try harder to keep going.
*Recap*
"I've seen it before!" she carries on with her hands in fists in front of her chest. "what do you think?" Farlen questions Levi, he looks at me giving me a stare I give him an unsure look as he knows my fear "If you stay here, learn how to clean before you learn 3D maneuver gear, and don't bother anyone"...
*Present*
She lifts her head slightly in surprise at what he said mumbling an "EH?" before turning and looking at him walking away, turning to me with glistening eyes and the happiest expression I had ever seen which made my heart melt slightly and my exterior soften.
While Levi was walking out the door she shouted: " Thank you, Bro!" Farlen and I stood at the door as we watched the other people part of Farlen's group gathered around the stairs watching Levi and listening to the soothing sound of the guitar.
*Timeskip*
We were walking through the archway leading to our house as we saw an old man stood at the bottom of the stairs looking at his pocket watch, my heart rate started to accelerate as I stood closer to Levi for a bit more comfort, he caught on to my discomfort and looked at me with care silently telling me he was not gonna let anything happen, we all stared at him as he put his watch away and noticed us "What's the deal, old man?" Isabel questions as I start to get my confidence "You want something?" he specifically looks at me and Levi blocks his gaze,
"I promise you a reward," he states "Go home!" Levi answers back coldly, he starts walking towards our home me, Isabel and Farlen slowly following behind, we walk past him not making eye contact at all, I turned around and gasp getting everyone's attention as I look towards a carriage with two of our comrades heading towards it. "Jan!" Farlen exclaims looking towards our friends.
"His leg is already at its limits." the old guys said, I looked towards him with an emotionless face but inside I was worried and shocked "What's the meaning of this?!" Farlen shouts at the guy clearly annoyed, "I told you, didn't I? Its a deposit for the job" That gets me thinking 'Job? what job? how come I don't know of this?' i was interrupted by the old bastard "You'll listen to the details now, right?" At this point, he started to piss me off but we all stared at Levi wondering what he was gonna do since he was very quiet during the whole thing. He replied with a cold sounding "Fine" as the guy told us to follow him as we started to follow him he brought us to a stairway leading upwards, we walk up the stairs and I don't like this guy he gives me this vibe and gut feeling to ignore him but I follow on anyway it was silent the only sound that was heard was our footsteps.
We get to the top and we all have to cover our eyes because of how bright it was as we look up we notice a horse and carriage blocking the exit, I see two figures but can't find any detail on their faces since I'm not used to the bright light yet "Are these the guys?" I hear a voice say as I look up to the guy in the carriage, "Who the hell are you" Levi questions coldly "It's understandable that you're wary of me, but you'll learn its okay to trust me." that sentence makes me very aware of what their next moves are because I definitely don't trust these two at all. "Have you received the deposit already?" he asks us but for me, Isabel and farlen, we stay quiet. "I don't know how things work up here, but in our world, its called taking a hostage." I look at everyone but the two strangers not wanting to get really involved "But also, citizenship on the surface" all of us took note on that sentence coming from the 'noble' as we all gasped in surprise. After that he said we can go and make up our decision.
*Timeskip*
As we were speed walking through the alleyways we were all having a serious conversation about this " We have confirmation on Jan. He's in a first-rate hospital" Farlen stated putting some relief in me. "The identity of that man is also confirmed" as soon as he said that Levi interrupted saying "Carry on as normal. But if, they appear just like he said they would..." his gaze leading forward sharpened as he started to think "We'll start the job" I was internally surprised at what Levi had said, normally we just moved on but since the rewards were very unlikely for folks around here, I can see why he took this chance and decided to go along.
As we turned a corner onto one of the main streets I had this strange feeling of being watched the uncomfortable feeling made me turn around, and there they were... two bright blue orbs staring right at me gazing into my soul, I turned around in fear and caught up with the others who were already slightly ahead. I started to fidget thinking about who that person was before and why 'they' were I was snapped out of my thoughts when I suddenly bumped into someone, I look up to see a cartman "Hey! watch where you are going you little rat!" out of instinct I punched him straight in the jaw knocking him to the floor, "Oi you will pay for that!" he yelled holding his broken jaw before Levi stood in front of me blocking the man. Levis glare was beyond pissed "(y/n) get with the others, now!" he commanded so I headed towards Isabel and Farlen who were standing by.
Levi knocked the guy unconscious with ease before taking off with the 3D maneuver gear, we all took note and set off as well but in the process, Isabel knocked over a big cart full of boxes, "Yahoo!" she cheered with a smirk, i took my own little route as did the others. I came to enjoy flying around, my (h/l) (h/c) hair flowing behind me, the somewhat 'fresh' air brushing against my face.
After a couple more seconds I regrouped with the others, as soon as i joined them Farlen glanced behind us "Levi! We are being followed!" as soon as he said that i took a look and he was right.... about 4 or 5 people were following us with 3D maneuver gear 'who are they......' my thoughts were interrupted "(y/n) keep moving forward!" Levi's voice echoed, i moved my gaze forward mumbling an apology not like he could here me.
"The military police again? Haven't they learnt their lesson, have they?" Isabel said looking back at them she looked ahead at Levi "Hey, Levi-bro! What i just said was a cool line, right?" she shouted with glee in her eyes. "Are you an idiot?!" Levi shouted in response, her face suddenly dropped.
As Levi shot off showing off his skills by doing tricks and flips, me Isabel and Farlen accelerated to keep up, I glanced back to see that these hooded strangers were catching up to us
"Farlen, Isabel, split up! (y/n) you with me!" Levi ordered. He knew I would be fine on my own, but I knew that these guys weren't the normal military police we deal with regularly. "I'll be fine on my own Levi! Go!" I knew he wasn't convinced because of the glare he gave me, "Fine! Be careful!" He shouted in response before shooting off.
