The Underground Thieves

||Chapter 9||

*FLASHBACK*

Levi and Farlen were talking about business in the background while I was sat on the couch lost in my own thoughts, the door crashing open caught all of our attention. Isabel storms in missing one pony tail and she had a mad look on her face.

"Isabel?" Farlen mumbled "Hey! What happened?" he shouted at her "nothing....." she mumbled

"Don't tell me that you went to see those low life scumbags again?" Levi said in a cold but questioning tone " She looked up at Levi, tears on the verge of falling "I tripped that all!" she exclaimed trying to make up an excuse but we all saw through it "What happened to your hair?" After he said that she burst into tears She ran into her room " It'll....GROW BACK!" she slammed her door shut. We all looked at each other knowing she got herself into trouble again with those assholes again. I looked at Levi "I'll go and check on her" He just started at me as I walked towards her room.

"Ngh.I'll kill you......I'll.....kill you" I heard her mumbles from outside her door I quietly knocked on her door "Hey, Its me Isabel, can I come in?" I said in a gentle voice she stopped mumbling so I slowly opened the door to find her wrapped in her blanket with tears rolling down her cheeks.

"He didn't mean it Isabel, he only wants you to be safe is all" I whispered to her trying to calm her as I opened my arm to which she dove at me and cried a bit i patted her head till she slowly fell asleep. I lay her down and pulled her blanket over her and walked out quietly,

Levi was still sat outside on a chair cleaning his knife, as i quietly shut Isabel's door he looked up at me gaze softening "You should get some sleep." he said trying not to be too loud as not to wake Isabel "I will, you too" i spoke walking towards my room he simply nodded "Night Levi" i whispered and shut my door as I did I slightly heard him say goodnight to me.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

I smiled at the memory my thoughts were interrupted by the guard, we were lead into a room with a few pairs of some sort of uniform the guard left so we could change but by the fact that two shadows were obvious at the bottom of the door he was stood outside, we all got changed in silence and when we were done we opened the door and left.

*TIMESKIP*

"ATTEEEENTIIIOOON!!" A man shouted by looking at him he looked like the commander. We were stood in front of a small crowd of soldiers "I'm here to present four new recruits who will be fighting along side you. Now you four, introduce yourselves." The man spoke with a booming voice, there was an awkward silence, I caught Erwin staring at us, almost silently commanding us to speak before their superior.

"The name's Levi" the tension was definately less tense but it still was lingering. They all stared bewildered, especially a woman with brown hair and glasses, she looked most intrigued and shocked. "Levi, the first thing you need to learn is some god-damn discipline!" our new commander boomed at him, "NEXT!"

Isabel strutted forward with booming confidence "My name is Isabel Magnolia, nice to meet cha!" I internally shook my head at her, 'she was always trying to look cool' my thoughts make my smile a tad. My thoughts were interrupted my Farlens voice,

"I'm Farlen Church" his right arm in an incorrect solute across his chest, the commander glanced at him, giving him a side glare. It was my turn next, I was almost shaking in my boots, I took a short, sharp inhale and looked forward.

"Y/n L/n"  trying not to show fear i said my name as clear as I could, without making a fool of myself.

"Flagon, these four will be assigned to your squad! Look after them." A blonde man in the front of the crowd visibly flinched, "my squad sir?" he questioned, shocked at his commanders orders. "Are you questioning my orders, Flagon?"
